It was nearly pitch black out and Tyler Lockwood had just finished his workout in the high school weight lifting room. As he neared his car there was a sound that caught his attention. Flicking his head up, he glanced around but saw nothing. Messing with his keys, he reached toward the door handle as another sound wisped around and Tyler jerked his head to the side. Andrew, one of the boys from Baseball, was standing there. He smiled at Tyler. "Hey man." Tyler stared at the boy with a raised brow.

"Hey, you need a ride home?" Tyler nodded.

"I'd appreciate that." Motioning to the other door, Tyler unlocked his door and then pressed the button to unlock the other before slipping in. As soon as they seated themselves and he pressed the key into the ignition, Andy seemed to be leaning over toward Tyler. "Hey, you know that girl, Birdie?" Tyler glanced over at it and fell back, surprised by how close he was to him.

"Birdie? The Fell girl that graduated last year?" Andy nodded. "What about her?" Slowly, Andy turned his head toward Tyler again with a devilish and almost sadistic smile on his face.

"Do you know where she lives?" Tyler furrowed his brows.

"No, man. What's wrong with you? Did you drop a weight on your head?" Andy laughed, a laugh that had even Tyler's eyes widening. "You're crazy, dude. Get out of my car!" Tyler started shoving at Andy but in a second, Andy's eyes produced veins and turned red. He darted toward Tyler as Tyler fell out of the car. A noise was heard on top of the car as Tyler saw something flash passed him and grab him, pulling him to his feet. Tyler turned to see it was Damon Salvatore, the older Salvatore brother. He could hear Andy yelling as he turned back to see Stefan pulling him out of the car. "What's going on, Stefan? What's his deal?" Damon stared at Tyler.

"You. Don't talk." Tyler swung his fist into Damon's stomach, but he barely reacted. He stared at him in shock.

"Screw you, dude." He exclaimed and Damon rolled his eyes.

"Dude, really? Dude?" Shaking his head Stefan tried to keep control over Andy but was struggling. Thankfully due to his age he was able to overpower him slightly.

"Damon, don't!" Stefan warned and his brother rolled his eyes again.

"Oh come on. Who's gonna miss this idiot?" Tyler blinked between the two brothers before Damon stepped forward. Gripping his hand around his throat, he stares into Tyler's eyes. "Forget what you saw here tonight. None of us were here." Using his enhanced strength he tosses Tyler over his car. He flips onto his stomach and when he stands back up everyone is gone. With confusion, he walks over and closes his passenger door, unsure of why it was open in the first place.

The next morning came quickly and as Amy entered the joined bathroom with Jeremy, she stopped. "Oh, sorry." She exclaimed and he smiled, shaking his head.

"No, you're good. I'm done." She glanced at him.

"You're up awful early?" Smirking at her he nodded.

"Mom said I could take the car, she's off today. Picking up Vicki." Amy's mouth opened in shock. "Yeah, yeah. Don't act so surprised." She laughed as he disappeared and she continued brushing her teeth. Racing down the stairs, Emma grabbed a piece of cinnamon toast from a plate sitting in the dining room before turning to leave.

"Hey, hey!" Miranda exclaimed, freezing Emma in her tracks. A few crumbs fell from the blonde's lips as she quickly chewed and swallowed the piece of bread in her mouth.

"What?" She asked, taking another bite.

"Where are you going?" She swallowed the next bite.

"Erik's picking me up?" Miranda sighed.
