Cheater

William, Trey and Kaleb had been in a relationship for almost 2 years now. To celebrate this anniversary Kaleb and William went over to Trey's house to surprise him.

"He's going to love his surprise!" said Will bouncing in the passenger seat of the car.

"Of course he will, you were the one that made it."

"I make the best surprises too, unlike someone else." remarked Will with a smug look on his face.

"Hey! I only messed up on the cake once!" said Kaleb.

They continued to laugh about the burnt cake on their way to Trey's.

"Welp, we made it."

"Yes! Let's go!" said William, grabbing Kaleb's hand and pulling him to the door.

Will tries to knock on the door but as soon as he touches it, it opens like it was already unlocked.

"Huh, that's strange." says Kaleb in a muted voice.

The two boys walk in to see most of the lights either dim or turned off. William walks into the kitchen and sets the cake down on the table.

Kaleb wanders through the living room seeing a pair of socks on the floor.

"Man, he should clean up a bit more often." William says as he walks over to Kaleb, holding his arm.

"He might've crashed in his room again."

William put his hands on his hips, "I told him he shouldn't have drank all that monster and stayed up so late"

"Well we both know Trey is quite stubborn." Kaleb said trying to reassure Will.

"True, let's go check on him then."

Both of the boys walked up the stairs and headed over to Trey's room.

William heard noise from Trey's room, thinking he was playing video games and didn't hear them come in.

Kaleb swings opens the door seeing what he thought was something straight from a nightmare.

Trey was making out with Trevon, a fellow classmate of theirs, while playing COD.

Tears welled up in Will's eyes as he watched one of his lovers kiss his best friend.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" William shouted at the top of his lungs.

The sudden noise made Trey and Trevon turn towards the door.

"So this is why you've been so distant from us?!" Kaleb said as he tried his hardest not to choke on his words.

"This is exactly what it looks like" said Trey standing up to face them.

As he stood you could see many hickies on his neck and collar bone.

"I did it because you two always spend time without me; so I think I should be with someone else who actually likes my company!" Trey exclaimed, stomping his foot on the ground.

William sped towards Trey and slapped him across the face.

"YOU FUCKING BETRAYED US, YOU BETRAYED ME!" William screamed, tears uncontrollably running down his face.

"Well you should have tried harder then." Trey said as he wiped the couple of tears running down his face.

"How could you?!" Kaleb said holding William in a tight imbrace as he sobbed.

"Like this." Trey said as he threw the promise ring onto the floor while making eye contact with Kaleb.

"You're a monster." William said, tears still streaming down his face.

"No, this makes me a monster." Trey said, and before a second thought he grabbed Trevon by the collar and kissed him in front of them.

William ran out of the room, down the stairs and out the door to the car.

"I hope you're happy, traitor."

"Oh I am, don't worry." Trey said

Kaleb left the house to console William outside. Trey and Trevon continued to make out, like nothing ever happened.

It was official...

The trio was no more.
