It was M/N's off day so it was a good time to talk to M/N. The time was 1pm and M/N was making coffee/tea/etc for himself as he just woken up from his sleep.

It was also Kazutora's off day too so he was in the bedroom, laying with Childe who was sleeping on M/N's former side of the bed.

"Such a cute kitty." He says, petting the ginger fur as the cat purred.

He soon heard the door open, looking up from the cat, he saw M/N. "You wanted to talk?" He asks, walking to the edge of the bed across from Kazutora.

"I do." He answered, sitting up more straightened, his hair falling long against his shoulders.

"About?" M/N asked again. Kazutora took a breath before continuing on.

There's nothing that he needs to worry about..right?

"About us, M/N.." Kazutora says, making M/N nod hesitantly.

"I know you have been more busy lately and I don't blame you but.. you have been distant. A lot. We don't even sleep in the same bed anymore. You don't look at me while saying 'I love you'. I've missed you, M/N.." Kazutora explained and meaning every word that he said.

Hearing the silence from M/N, gave him second thoughts. Anxiety ran through his body.

Maybe he shouldn't started this, he was probably being too insecure.

"All I'm saying is that you have been too distant and I-"

"Kazutora.." M/N interrupted, not looking at him.

Kazutora perked up at M/N. "Yeah?"

"I- Uhm.." M/N bit his lip slightly while Kazutora was waiting quietly for him.

"You have been the most wonderful husband ever.. But I.." M/N dragged off.

"But?" Kazutora felt the his heart racing in anticipation, fiddling with his hands a bit.

"..I fell out of love with you." M/N finally spit out, looking at Kazutora with regret sadden eyes.

Kazutora froze as he felt his heart shattered. He was in the situation he never wanted to be in. Not finding the words through his heartbreaking state.

All he could muster up was one word as he was on the verge into tears.

"W-what?"
