On one day Max was killed making Chloe feel responsible for her death and in a few weeks the settlement they where in was attacked by some raiders. Rachel went to investigate what was going on and when she got back she was barely clinging onto life and was slowly dieing in Chloe's arms while Julie watched and cried soon after Rachel passed Chloe and Julie tried to escape the raiders and settlement and while they were running in the woods Chloe got shot in the leg. Telling Julie to run Chloe gave Julie her Beanie and told her to give it back when they saw each other again but they wouldn't see each other till Julie was at Ericson's Boarding school for troubled youth almost 2-3 years later.
