CHAPTER#9: On the Ground

Y/n POV



I was lying in the bedroom with Jisoo. I told her everything and she wasn't shocked as I was, strange.

Y/n: "he is trying to make me quit. "

Jisoo: "Well I am not surprised. He already told you the word 'Consequences' "
She said while air quoting the word.

Y/n: "You can say that soyaa because you don't know him but I do. Our parents were family friends. "
Mine and Jin's family were family friends. Our mothers were distant cousins and best friends, like sisters and same goes for us, we are practically distant cousins.

I was so close to Soeun unnie (Jin's older sister). We always visit each other's families. Jin has two older brothers, I was close with them as well but Jin always kept his distance from me. On the other hand it didn't stopped him to care for me.

Jisoo: "Y/n, get out of your past. He is........he is not the same person you used to know........... People change, time change them. A person can change so much in six damn years girl."
Jisoo spoke finally getting me out of my thoughts.

Y/n: "He was the most sweetest person. How can he change like that? "
A lone tear escaped my eyes. Jisoo came near me and hugged me.

Jisoo: "Don't worry, okay..................we will surely figure something out........."
I didn't said anything. Soyaa is right, people change..........but the thing is I didn't expected him to change.

Jisoo: "Y/n?"

Y/n: "hmm"

Jisoo:" Should I talk to Namjoon....."
I cut her in mid sentence and break the hug and faced her.

Y/n: "No,no, no, please no. Don't tell him anything?"

Jisoo: "Okay chill I won't.....relax..."

Y/n: "I will surely figure out something....."

Jisoo: "Yep, that's the spirit......."

Y/n: "Why you haven't left yet?"
I asked her as it was getting quite late and she was still here.

Jisoo: "I am crashing here tonight........"



Y/n: "Why?......................Go home. Namjoon's going to curse me all night for keeping his girlfriend away from him."

Jisoo:" Don't worry he won't, I already told him...........Now please don't disturbing my beauty sleep and turn off the lamp."
I rolled my eyes and then a smile came up on my lips. She always manages to make me smile somehow.

Huhhh..............................I heaved a sigh..........

Next Day

And there goes another day of the so called MR.CEO consequences. As soon I entered the building Hazel sent me to the store room to rearrange the files in an alphabetical order. I mean seriously as far as I know they should be in a year wise order but here I am standing on the foldable ladder and arranging these damn files.





Y/n outfit for the day

I am doing it for like the past 4 hours and I am tired af. What is his problem? Is that his way of taking revenge on me? I knew him more then that.

Then suddenly my phone started ringing. I picked up, it was jisoo.
