At The Hospital (10)

Day by day Siddharth's condition was deteriorating more and more.. Now he couldn't walk or talk much.. What ever he did he would get very much tired..

Everyone was taking very much care of him and making it sure that he was happy.. Jai used to click every moment of them... Siddharth with his mom, dada.. Siddharth with Jai.. Siddharth with Reem.. Their family moments.. And the most precious moment of Siddhath with Avneet..

But as the days were passing by, Avneet was getting more and more scared and insecured.. She started feeling lonely from inside..

She couldn't afford to loose him at any cost but she knew that there were no way...

She was so scared that every night she used to woke up with a jerk and check that if Siddharth was okay or not..

One day Reem, Jai and Avu planned for shopping.. She was keen to shop with Siddharth but...

Avneet came to his room.. He was laying on the bed.. His face was pale.. Avneet came and sat beside him.. She caressed him and then grabbed his hand..

Avu: Siddu...
Sid: Mmmm?
Avu: Keya hua tujhe? Aise kyu soya hua hai?
Sid: Chakkar aa rahe hai bohot.. isiliye...

She leaned on him and kissed on his forehead..

Avu: Sun hum shopping pe ja rahe hai.. thik hai?
Sid: Thik hai.. jaldi aa jana..

She went... Jai and Reem were waiting for her in the car.. She came and sat..

Reem: Didi.. keya hua? Itni udaas kyu ho aap?
Avu: Reem tum na bohot lucky ho!

Reem lowered her face..

At the mall*

Avneet was taking everything she was loving for Siddharth.. She didn't even take a cloth for herself..

Reem: Didi jiju ke liye shopping karke Kitna khush ho rahe hai na?
Jai: Haan.. but tab usne jo kaha uske liye bura maat manna..
Reem: Paagal bura kyu manungi... Main to Sach mein lucky hu na... Dekho tum jaise mere saath shopping karne aye ho to mujhe Kitna achha lag raha hai.. waise hi Didi ko bhi to man hota hai jiju ke saath shopping karne ka....
Jai: hmmmm......

Avneet came after clearing half of the male section...

Avu came and told

Avu: Dekho Dekho Maine kitni shopping ki mere Siddu ke liye... wo aj khush ho jayega na?
Reem: Haan bilkul...😊

In the way back home Avneet was continously saying about Siddharth.. She was just lost in him..

Avu: Reem jab Jai tumhe hug karta hai to kaisa lagta hai?
Reem: Bohot achha... sukoon milta hai..
Avu: Mujhe bhi jab Siddharth hug karta hai to bohot achha lagta hai...

Suddenly Jai's phone ranged*

Jai stopped the car and picked it up..

Jai: Haan bolo?
Sm1:..............
Jai(shocked): Keya bol rahi ho?
Sm1:.............
Jai: Haan shopping ho geyi.. ghar hi aa rahe the..
Sm1:..............
Jai: Haan.. thik hai.. but...
Sm1:...............
Jai: Hm....

He cut the call with the same shocked expression...

Reem: Keya hua Jai?
Jai(stammering): Haan? Nehi kuch nehi...
Avu: Jai itna ghabraye hue kyu ho tum? Kiska call tha?
Jai: Kuch nehi di.. mere friend ka call tha... bol raha tha ki kaal exam hai... isiliye...
Avu(laughed): Ohhhh... mujhe laga Siddharth...

Jai got a jerk...

Jai: nehi nehi... exam.... exam...

Then he laughed like a fool... He then started the car and saw a medical store and stopped the car...

Jai: Reem bahar ao...
Avu: Keya hua?
Jai: Reem ko kuch medicine chahiye...

Reem was surprised coz she needn't but Jai gestured him to say yes...

Reem: Haan.. Haan....

Jai and Reem went inside the store...

Reem: Jhut kyu bola?
Jai(his eyes became teary): Keya karu Mai?
Reem: Awww keya hua? Ro mat Jai...
Jai: Mummy ka call tha.. bola jiju achanak se behosh hoye gaye the.. paani de ne ke baad bhi hosh nehi aya isiliye hospital le gaye..
Reem: Hey bhagwan.. abhi kaise hai?
Jai: Thik nehi hai.. doctor kuch bol nehi pa rahe...
Reem: Ohhh no... didi ko keya bole?
Jai: Wahi to.. mujhe kuch samajh nehi aa raha.. Ufffff...
Reem: Jai.. Jai.. Shant ho ja.. pahele bata mummy ne keya bola..
Jai: Mummy bol rahi Jai hospital jaane ko..
Reem: Didi ko le Jaye?
Jai: To aur keya kare?

Jai held his head..

Jai: ufff Mai kaise batau didi ko?

Reem: Jai.. itna stress mat lo... Thik hai Main bataungi.. ab chalo...
Jai: Koi medicine kharid lo.. nehi to didi ko shak ho jayega..
Reem: Medicine kharid ke keya hoga? Didi ko to batana hi hai na..

They came to the car and saw Avneet was looking very panicked and trying someone in call..

Reem: Keya hua di?
Avu: Ohhh Reem dekho na Mai Siddharth ko kabse call kar rahi hu ye bata ne ke liye ki raaste mein traffic hai to thoda late hoga.. but ye call utha hi nehi raha.. ufff....

Pata nehi keya ho geya... uffff.. I hope mera Siddu thik hai.. Ohhh God!!
Reem: Didi call mat kijiye.. phone ghar mein hai..
Avu: Ghar mein hai matlab? Siddu bhi to ghar mein hi hai..
Reem: Didi wo apko wk baat batani thi..
Avu(looked at her in a melancholy mood): keya? Siddharth zinda nehi hai keya?

Reem and Jai were just taken aback..

Jai: Didi... paagal ho geyi hai keya?

Reem gestured Jai to stay silent... Jai turned his face and looked out through the window of the car...

Reem: Jai car start karo.. Jaldi pahoch na hai.. aur apna dimaag thanda karo...

Reem grabbed Avneet's hand and said..

Reem: Didi dekho Mummy ka call aya tha... Jiju ko hospital le gaye.. unko abhi tak hosh nehi aya...

Avu looked at Reem and started sobbing..

Avu: Siddu ke liye chocolate le le? Wo thik ho jayega.. mujhe pata hai...

Jai(angry): Ye ladki paagal ho geyi hai.. chocolate se koi thik nehi hota didi..
Reem: Jai chup!!!

Reem: Didi dekho aise rote nehi.. thik hai hum chocolate le jayenge.. thik hai?

They bought many chocolates and reached hospital...

They saw Sonia auntie and Amandeep uncle were sitting with tensed faces..

Jai went near Amandeep uncle..

Jai: Papa...
Amandeep: Jai Siddharth ki tabbiyat bohot kharab hai...
Jai: hosh aya?
Amandeep: Haan but so geya... bohot weakness hai...

Jai sighed and sat beside him...

Reem and Avneet entered Siddharth's ward..

Avu went to him and big drops of tears started falling from his eyes...

Avu: Siddu... uth na yaar... Siddu!!!

Siddharth opened his eyes slowly... For a second he couldn't recognize who was she...

Avu: Reem dekh ankhe khola mere Siddu ne..

She smiled and kissed on his forehead..

Avu: Siddu pata hai maine tere liye kitne saare kapde kharide? Tu jaldi se thik ho ja.. phir trial dena thik hai?

But Siddharth wasn't responding...

Avu(sobbed): Reem dekh na mujhse baat nehi kar raha...

Reem came near her and soothed her...
