Avantika huffs loudly. It was a tiring morning though. So many blessings and gifts. She ushers to their marital chamber after the muh dikhai ritual and her lunch. The ritual in which the traditional veil is removed and after this, the wedding is now considered to be complete.
She gets into the closet and change her heavy outfit into a simple yet elegant white red-pink floral saree. Removing her extra heavy ornaments, she keeps them inside the wardrobe. She had a nuptial chain around her neck while the chamber echoes with the jingling sound of her bangles and anklets.
Her head was adorned with vermilion and she put a magenta-pink bindi between her eyebrows which is contrasting with her attire. She wears her thin gold waistband and then her gold simple earrings. She finally gives a satisfied look at her reflection in the mirror.
This feels good now.
Avantika saunters towards the large black Victorian gothic couch which was placed inside the chamber. Spreading on it, she undo her clutch and let her long black hair spread on her back. She rests her back on the couch and closes her eyes.
Her whole body is painting and the headache is making it worse. She wasn't able to sleep well for the last two days. The rituals kept her awake.

Rudra step inside the hall, his phone pressed against his ear. He barks an order before hanging up. On finding, her son finally in the palace before the reception party, Padma hastily moves towards him.
He stands in the middle of the grand hall in all his glory, searching for his wife but she is nowhere in his sight.
"So, finally! You graced us with your presence." Padma narrows her eyes. Upon hearing his mother, Rudra fixes his attention to her and just nods his head in response.
"Rudra, you shouldn't have left like that. There were so many rituals. Plus, today is your reception and---" Sam intervenes Padma in between, "And bhabhi maa is upset with you." As he heard his sister's remark; he emotionlessly stare at her making her gulp down.
Devesh smirks before airing the drama, "Plus, she's very exhausted while performing all the rituals alone." He mocks his elder brother for leaving Avantika alone on the second day of their marriage.
Rudra raises his right brow on hearing his siblings with an emotionless face; asking them to repeat the same tone they used a second ago.
Sam and Dev slipped out of the hall while Padma shook her head on both the twin. They can't stand in front of their elder brother but still love to mess with him.
"You shouldn't have left like that, Rudra. Your bride needs you. Especially, in the early stages of your marriage. Go and take some rest. We still have five hours to reception." Padma finishes herself while patting her son's right cheek. Rudra give a curt nod to his mother and left the space.
