Sry this took so long, I've been through a bit of a tough time with my anxiety lately so I needed a bit of a break but enjoy <3

It was the next day and all of us got time to cool down.

It was Maise's birthday today and I wanted everything to go well.

"Morning" Mattheo says coldly as Maise walked into the room, not looking up from his copy of today's daily prophet.

I nudged him lightly in hopes that he would understand that I want the two of them to talk but he just looked at me and smiled.

"Could you go wake Mason and Maddie darling?" He asked me, not even looking at Maise.

"Of course" I say with the fakest smile in the world plastered onto my face.

As I walk up the stairs I hear arguing come from the kitchen.

"Are you going to apologise for yesterday?" I hear Mattheo ask rather calmly

"No, cause you and mom are assholes who only care about 2 of their kids cause I'm apparantly not good enough for you!" I hear Maise yell

"I never fucking said that! When the fuck have we said anything of the sort to you?" Mattheo yells twice as loud as Maise

"You don't have to, I can fucking feel it! You act like Maddie is some sort of angel and Mason is some sort of gift from god and what about me huh? You treat me like the unwanted child! And luckily, 3 years until I can finally be free from this shithole of a place I used to call home!" she screams

"Maybe you are a disappointment, and I'm already counting down the says until you turn 18 and move out like you said. We don't want you here anyways!" Mattheo yells

"Wait... what?" Maise asks. I can tell she's crying since her voice was shaky

"You heard me" Mattheo adds

 I quickly run in before either of them could say anything else to find a angry mattheo and a crying Maise.

"I fucking hate you!" Maise yells as she storms up the stairs, locking herself in her room once again.

I look at Mattheo in pure anger and his eyes soften as he sees how mad I am.

"let's talk" I tell him and he nods in agreement

"What's wrong?" Maddie asks as she walks down the long spiral stairs

"Nothing my love, Mason should be awake any minute now so just let him sleep in, your breakfast in on the table.

"Thanks mom" Maddie says as she climbs up the silk stool by the kitchen counter.

I drag mattheo out the room and into our room.

"What the hell was that darling?" I ask him

"Listen, I'm sorry love. You know I say things I don't mean when I'm angry" he explains with tear in his eyes.

"I know babe but that's our kid. Our first baby." I add making his eyes soften

"I know..." he mumbles

There was a moment of silence.

Suddenly, I hear sniffles and I see that Mattheo was crying.

"What's wrong baby?" I ask him as I sit him down on the bed

"A-am I turning into my father?" he asks

"No, no no no. You are nothing like him, ok? You are the best husband ever and you're a good dad most of the time. You just need to learn to control yourself darling" I reassure him

He looks down at me with pure sadness in his eyes

"Give it a few hours. Just for her to cool down. Then try and have a nice father-daughter talk with her alright? You're her only dad, she loves you. She'll forgive you" I tell him and he nods

"God what would I do without you?" He asks chuckling as he smashes his lips on mine

"You''re a good person theo" I tell him and just smiles

"Thank you wifey" he says smiling

Mattheo's pov:

It's been a few hours since the fight.

I knew I had to talk to her. She was my daughter.

I knocked on Maise's door and I hear the lock click and the door creaks open.

"What?" She asks me with an attitude

"Look, I'm sorry for what I said. I didn't mean any of-" I start before I was cut off

"And I do not forgive you so piss off!" Maise yells before slamming the door

I was shocked.

I was expecting the night to end with the both of us enjoying ice cream and Y/n praising me on how well I took the talk but THIS was unexpected.

I walk back to Y/n and I's room slowly and open the door.

"No luck?" Y/n asks softly

I shake my head no.

"Come here" she says as she opens her arms

I pull her onto my chest and hug her tight.

"Well we need to cheer her up soon right?" I ask her

"Let's invite Draco,scorpious, Harry, Ginny and Albus over tomorrow. Maybe her best friends will cheer her up and plus you can have a nice chat with Draco and Harry and I can catch up with Ginny!" she suggests 

"You are an absolute genius!" I say as she giggles

"Goodnight loverboy" she teases

"Goodnight my love" I say as I kiss the top of her head
