"hey! wait up for me rin!" the older haitani yelled as he chased after his brother who was entering the kitchen.

"go away." the younger one replied as he tried to close the door behind him but failed massively by his brother ripping the door open.

"why are you so pissed off?"

"no reason."

"liar." ran's hand came down and smacked his brother on the head, "what's up with you?"

"why did you mention the murder rates thing." he asked as he rubbed his head.

"why does it matter? you shouldn't care about what she thinks about your anger." ran replied, a curious look on his face as he watched his brother's expression change, "unless you do care...wait a second...you do care. what's going on with you?"

tears brimmed at rindou's face so he quickly turned away from his brother, hoping that it hadn't be noticeable, "i don't care. i broke up with her."

"no offence but you became a dick after you broke up with her and might i add i've known you your entire life so i know when you are lying so will you for once tell me the truth."

"will you drop it."

"no i won't not til you tell me."

as rindou went to reply, yells came from out of the kitchen so the two brother focused their attention on the open door. the music turned louder as a swirl of pink hair danced around the room.

ran dropped his gaze and looked at his brother, "i'll drop it for tonight but after that we are going to talk about it." he then left the room, closing the door behind him.

the remaining brother let out a sigh out before he walked out of the kitchen, trying to hide the annoyance on his face. he knew that one day that he would have to see her again but he wasn't prepared for today. he had nearly jumped out of his seat and held her in his arms when his eyes fell onto her. she had looked different, but at the same time she looked exactly like she did two years ago.

his eyes fell on what everyones attention was on to see sanzu and y/n dancing to voulez-vous together, her bright smile lighting up the room, and all rindou could do was stare.

he hadn't stopped loving her since he had left the hospital room and acted like he wanted nothing to do with her, and now he was in the same room as her all he wanted to do was to kiss her.

he watched as sanzu twirled her around making the girl giggle, and all rindou wanted to do was be the guy that made her smile once again.

sanzu let go of the girl and the older haitani took his place, a small smirk placed on his face and he glanced at his little brother. the younger one glared at him and ran grinned before dipping the girl and lifting her hand in the air to which the ring on her finger glinted in the light.

rindou's brows furrowed as he tried to get a better look at the ring, he noticed it was on her ring finger and the immediate feeling of dread entered him. she had gotten engaged since they had split up and he hadn't even known.

as the song came to a stop, ran let go off her and bowed to her before kissing her hand. he tilted her hand towards his brother, making the man want to punch him.
