Millie's POV
I marched out of the calm room ready to fight with my mom but Sophia stopped  me . "C-can we talk" she said nervously "I have to go when I get back" I said starting to walk again but she stopped me again "just real quick" "alright quickly" "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for kissing Sadie" "hey I know what it feels like don't worry I'm not mad" I said patting her back starting to walk away but turned around quickly "hey Sophia do me a favor" "anything"she said relieved feeling she owed me something "I don't know how long ill be gone but keep reminding Sadie I'm coming back even if you think I'm not"I said seriously walking away with my back turned to her . She nodded running away before she got caught in the waiting room .

I arrived home to my mom bum barding me "for god sakes mom I learned my lesson we're not dating anymore it's over" I said annoyed walking through the kitchen with her following behind me "yeah that's what you said the last two times
and me and your father were bailing you out of jail" she yelled grabbing my wrist turning me around "oh my fucking god mom I'm not 16 anymore" I yelled shoving her ripping my wrist out of hands "then who the hell are you dating your neck looks like that" she yelled sternly "none of your business" I snapped back "Millie do you understand how serious this is your 20 years old you should be in college not sneaking off out to clubs fucking random stupid girls that you don't know "I do know her and I love her and you're not gonna stop me from doing that , who the hell said I still go to clubs" I yelled loudly angry she still thinks I'm like that "well it's hard to not assume that when you won't tell me what the hells going on making me think you're back to your old ways" tears started to fill my eyes ready to fall "I'm not mom" I tried"then who is it" she said grabbing my shoulders holding me in place . I knew she was really being hard on me because everything she said is true I had a hard time in high school getting caught up in drama messing with the wrong girls I was a completely different person from who I am now . I wouldn't trust myself either if I were her .
"It's Sadie mom" I yelled after she started shaking me

"Sadie? Sadie Sink"
"yes" I said as she let me go of me for a couple seconds then pulled me in for a hug

"baby why didn't just tell me" she said rubbing my back

"I thought you wouldn't except her" I said sadly looking down

"Millie you and Sadie used to play together everyday I thought she was your first crush" she laughed

"wait what" I said pulling from the hug

"yeah you guys loved each other"

"why didn't you tell me that" I said slightly annoyed

"never really thought I needed to or that you would care I still have pictures"

"mom I've been with Sadie everyday since you sent me to her

"oh sorry I guess I didn't really think you guys would reconnect"she said pulling out a box of pictures
"you guys only stopped hanging out because her mom had a lot of stuff going on with her dad not having the time for you guys still , look here" she said handing me a couple photos of myself with Sadie one was of us riding bicycles together. and another of us holding hands at the park , the other one had us holding each other scared of the Easter the bunny at preschool . I smiled looking as them

"can I take them to her" I said

"sure , and mills I'm sorry for thinking the worst

"it's ok" I said running out the house to my car
