Next Day
Prachi and Aditiya took blessing from Dadu and bid goodbye leaving for the airport.
After a while when the car stopped at the signal Adi saw Prachi sad, leaning on the window and staring at nothing.
"You know I have a weak memory right , you can share anything, your secret is absolutely safe with me", said Adi trying to make the situation light.
Prachi:-"Adi, you are my best friend and I have know you since forever. People have come and gone mostly left but you are still here. I know that you have the weakest memory and that is why I already shared everything with you".
Adi:-"wow! That was a good thank you speech until you agreed to my statement. You could have denied. It's easy. Lemme show you".
He took her hand and placed on his shoulder and in a dramatic way said, "Adi you don't have a weak memory, you have a really good memory.
See it's that easy. Now you say it".
This made Prachi chuckle a bit giving Aditiya hope that he could replace the pain in her with some amount of joy and happiness.
"Well, jokes apart for a moment, there's still something bothering you. What is it"? Asked Aditiya
"leaving Delhi is going to bring many changes, and as per my life history the future will probably have the most unexpected 'suprises' which I will not ready be for", said Prachi pretending to be normal.
Adi:-"things have been bad maybe worse but further can be good, there are reasons you have for a happy future. I know it's hard for you to hope for this but atleast there's some possibility".
Prachi nodded with a weak smile.
At the airport
They reached the airport. The driver helped them with their luggage. Aditiya and Prachi completed all the necessary formalities and waited for the announcement.
Sitting there Prachi's heart and brain were in a conflict. Her heart was telling a stay, to not live the place but the brain had the opposite to say. The brain reminded her all the pain and humiliation she went through since she came to the city. It reminded her, her mother's words that this city is not good. The announcement was done which broke Prachi's thoughts.
Aditiya:-"shall we go"?
Ignoring her heart and listening to hee brain who stated facts she stood up and said "yes".
End of flashback.....
"I went to London with Adi making a decision not to look back, my brain was with me I could control it but my heart, it wouldn't listen to me making it difficult to move on, difficult to forget you, forget us. And, of course, my amazing destiny was also there to team up with my heart and successfully broke the little courage I had. It took time but I managed to grow from everything, thanks to Adi", said Prachi with slight tears in her eyes.
She quickly wiped out her tears and turned towards Ranbir and said, "you and your family broke me into thousands of pieces, and Adi, he built me back piece by piece. And now, there's no us and there's no pain. I, will not let anyone break me again and spoil all the one year long efforts".
Ranbir listened to Prachi carefully, every word she had to say, until she stopped. He wanted to ask her about their baby but didn't assuming after everything Prachi may not want to share and spoil things more. Also he had no idea how she would react to the fact l that he new everything, he didn't want to take any risk that would mess things more.
Ranbir:-"Prachi I can't erase the last year but I can make the present and future beautiful by fixing everything".
"what do you want to fix? What will you fix"? Questioned Prachi.
"Everything. The trust that I broke, the pain you got, everything Prachi, I'll fix everything and make things exactly the way it was when we were together", replied Ranbir with full determination and confidence.
Prachi:-"There is nothing left that you can fix Ranbir. Adi already fixed everything. You were listening right? You have seen me for the past few days, did you for even a second saw any pain? Visible pain, invisible pain, pain that I might be hiding?
No, you didn't, neither you nor your family nor anyone else, cause there's no pain. I'm absolutely fine and normal, living the happy life I had once".
Ranbir:-"Prachi, everything is not solved. We still have issues between us. We still are not together. I want to clear all the mess between us, and, I can't do it without you. Please, just one chance".
Prachi:-"You really think I'm interested in all this after everything that happened? I don't want to waste any more time on something that's never going to change".
Ranbir:-"listen to your heart".
"If I wanted to listen to my heart I would be here in Delhi not in London. I have stopped listening to it. The heart doesn't understand logic and facts, it lives in this fantasy world where everything is rainbow and roses. My life is not a fairytale, it's a reality, where I'll listen to my brain who knows and understands facts and logic. I can't trust you again, and even if I do, I don't trust my destiny. One moment everything will be fine and when I get used to it everything will be ruined, and this is a fact", stating her points she left from the backyard.
Ranbir wanted to stop her, he even tried but couldn't. What will he say even if he successfully stopped her? He was still digesting the whole conversation, trying to find a ray of hope.
