I hate the TSA

Falling falling falling bam
My head rocketed forward with a jolt.
"Wow rocking landing ant it"the dude sat next to me laughed
The guy em jake? Jarred? Jim? I can't remember and honestly didn't care. The nameless dude had been talking to me relentlessly for the whole trip. Unfortunately for me, my 5-dollar airport shity headphones did not last as long as his speech. The left wore out at the 45 minutes mark and it was only a matter of time until the right died.

Shit, he was talking again. "Yeah you wanna exchange numbers" "Look dude I'm not interested in talking and wasn't the whole fight" I reply quickly.

"Yeah no it's fine I totally get it. I'm currently doing a gender studies class and I'm learning so much about women?" The guy says smirking. I felt like puking. "I just get women you know so  I'll-"

Thankfully I was saved from learning more about how this dude "just got women" by the scrambling off everyone to get their bags I joined them hoping to get as far away for this guy.

I got through the airport as fast as possible the fucking TSA guys went through my carry-on bag and found my blades. It was easy to explain them away as just my broken shaving blade that I hoped to fix. I could hopefully convince Charlie to take me shopping for shit I needed and add them to my cart along with pads to stop him from questioning

Once I passed the arrival gate with my carry-on and checked-in suitcase in hand I searched the room of waiting people looking for a familiar face

"Stephnie!" I hear Charlie call from a toss the hall I turn and started walking towards then plastering a smile on my face "over here" I hear him call again once I see him and Bella standing together. I do a double take staring at Bella she's smiling like charlie was but there was something in her eyes as if she wasn't even registering what was happening and definitely not really smiling. It reminded me of my own smile.

Remembering what I was doing I run up to Charlie smiling and laughing swinging into a circle "DAD" I yell hugging him tightly. Bella stoping calling him that once she turned 9 I never really did. I was always the daddy's girl even as a child. Bella would be the one begging our mum not to make us go to visit him and I was the one dragging her to the car to go to the airport.

"How was the fight darling," he said putting me down "great!" I replied lying through my teeth
I turn to Bella to envelop her in a hug she hugged me back but something felt wrong I decided not to touch on that subject yet and leave it for a better date

God could the cashier hurry up I taped my foot other and other as the no relinquish sounds off the check out massive pinged. pinged. pined. in my ears

I got Charlie to stop by the convenience shop on the way home thank gid and got some food Aswell as hygiene Shit to hide the fact I bought a razor and spare blades.  Once we got back in the car I sense of relief hit me I was safe now I had them.

We pulled into the driveway of Dad's place and I got out of the car and helped him take my bags out of the trunk.
"Bella, will you show your sister her room?"
"We should eat dinner first," Bella said not facing me but continuing to show me the house. Once we were all inside Bella stuck the microwave meals we got on the way here on and we started eating dinner I asked all about how life was for both Bella and Charlie. Charlie talked about how he was going on a fishing trip in two days and Bella only answered with yes or no or the bare minimum.

"Soooo how's this boyfriend of yours," I ask in a mocking tone smirking to myself "Edmund was it or Edward" I continue failing to notice how Bella went stiff as a board "tell me about him or more importantly does he have a single brother....or sister ;)" Bella got up so fast she almost knocked over the table "no" she muttered to herself

I was so confused she loved to email me about Edward back when she used relayed to my messages I thought it would make her feel better if she did.

I turn to Charlie who had a  graven face "is she ok, what happened"
"Edward and his family left for Los Aguilas a couple of months ago" he started looking as if death had come knocking early "he only told her the day off them leaving and hold her in the middle of the forest" he took in a shaker breath "it took us 6 hours to find her and even then she was still sobbing"
