When Abby got home, she found her mother, Kanai, sitting iin the kitchen at the table. Their kitchen was a light blue. All the cabnits were green.
Summing up her courage, Abby asked her mom, "hey mom? Who's my dad?' At this Kanai looked up.
"Oh... Umm... Why do you ask?" She said, shocked. A look of realizaction came over her face. "Oh no... No no no no... Honey, did you see anything out of the ordinary?"
"No!" Abby said. when her mother's eyebrows went up, she quickly added," I mean of course not."
"Okay then..." Kanai said. "Well, this summer, I've signed you up for a summer camp."
"What?!" Abby yelled. "No way. Never. I have plans!"
"You'll learn about your father there. Plus, Cordi is going with you." Kanai protested.
"Fine... I'll go..." Abby groaned. Her mom smiled and Abby couldn't help but smile back.
"Good! Go upstairs and pack we're leaving tomorrow. Cordi will be dropped off at 10 AM. " Kanai told her daughter.
"'Kay mom," Abby said over her shoulder as she ran upstairs to pack. She turns on her radio.
"This is my fight and I'm gonna play it,
been so long I forgot how to turn it up."
