"Ok, let's move to the couch." Harry spoke, already pulling the drain and standing up. He didn't look at Louis as he stepped out of the tub and grabbed towels for the each of them. He wrapped himself up and walked out of the room, trying to figure out how he could get out of this conversation. Sex didn't look like much of an option right now.
He stood at the bathroom door and turned to watch Louis climb out of the tub and begin to dry himself off. The water made him look to be glowing, the heat from the water blushed his cheeks and his wet hair was pushed back. Harry wanted to be honest with him, as he watched Louis he knew he couldn't ignore the warmth he felt spreading through his chest.
--
They settled on the couch opposite each other as far apart as they could be at either end. Louis had decided to put on one of Harry's oversize sweaters, Harry had on a silk pajama bottom that left little to the imagination with a plain white tee. Louis had his legs crossed as he faced Harry while Harry sat with one leg bent at the knee.
"Last night, I said things to you. I did break things off with Niall that morning you texted and I didn't tell the full truth when I said I don't commit." Harry paused and looked down. This is the part he hated speaking about, he hated how angry it made him. How hurt he felt growing up.
"When I was young my parents went through a messy divorce and without going into too much detail; My father had an affair and it destroyed our family. I have no contact with my father and younger sister." Harry spoke. Louis moved closer, their knees inches apart.
"What happened to your sister?"
"She went to live with my dad and I never heard from her again. It was like she disappeared into thin air until a few years ago, I was able to get a phone number and a recent photo of her. I've reached out but I never heard back from her. She picked our dad and I picked our mom, our relationship was never the same after that." Harry sighed, watching Louis' thumb rub over his hands. Harry hadn't noticed when Louis touched him. "Last night was the first time I've seen her in years."
"I'm sorry that happened to your family and you had to go through that. My parents divorced but they've both remarried now." Louis spoke quietly. He could understand a little what Harry went through. However his parents are still good friends and are even friends with their new spouses. "Gemma, that was the name you called Annie last night, that was your sister."
"Yea." Harry chuckled sadly and looked up at Louis. "Annie is her middle name, I guess she goes by that now. She acted like she didn't even know me."
"I go to her flower shop all the time, maybe you could go and speak with her there." Louis said, Harry was already shaking his head before he finished his sentence.
"I'm not going to force her to talk to me and I don't want to talk about her anymore." Harry spoke, pulling his hands away and standing up. "Louis, I don't want to hurt you, not like my dad hurt my family." Harry looked into Louis' eyes.
"You've already ended it with Niall, you won't hurt me. " Louis spoke getting up and moving closer to Harry.
"Every person I've dated, I've always wanted more."
Louis reached up and tucked a hair behind Harry's ear before draping them over his shoulders. "I really really like you and I think I can be enough. " Harry reached out to hold Louis waist.
"I'm not good at making promises." Harry whispered, looking from Louis parted pink lips to his blue twinkling eyes. Harry wasn't sure this was a good idea or that they'd even workout but knew Louis was who he wanted.
"I don't need any promises, I just need you." Louis whispered before finally leaning forward and pressing his lips against Harry's. Harry held him tightly, heart racing. They kissed for a few moments before Harry pulled back.
"Boyfriends?" Harry asked. Louis pressed their foreheads together. He grinned.
"Boyfriends."

Zayn had cleaned his entire apartment and washed his sheets twice. He couldn't get the images of him and Annie out of his mind, he could stop hearing Liam telling someone that wasn't him that he loved them. Zayn was leaning against the counter in his kitchen, his phone in one hand, a lit joint in the other. He was nervous but he needed to talk to Liam, needed to know the truth.
He pressed call.
Ring Ring Ring
Hey Zee, thought you and lou would be sleeping in today.
"Where are you?" Zayn took a hit.
Wolverhampton with my mum, remember? I told you before I left last night, are you still drunk honey?
"Speaking of last night, I heard you with someone." Zayn put the joint out and ran a hand through his hair. Liam was sounding too casual over the phone. He was acting as if he hadn't cheated on him the night before.
What? What do you-
"Liam stop messing around okay. You called me last night and I heard you hooking up with someone. So who was it?" Zayn was getting frustrated.
Zayn, it's not what you think.
"Then what is it?" What else could it possibly be? Zayn knows what he heard and that could've only been one thing. Why wasn't Liam saying anything.
"Then what was it, Liam!" Zayn repeated, his heart pounding and palms sweaty. He couldn't believe this was happening to him. What did he do to make Liam go to another man? These last two months had been amazing, he'd never met someone like Liam before and he didn't want to lose him. A part of him knew he may have already.
I'm married Zayn.
