The lakers team went out for warmups, fan some interactions, talking to coaching staff, and talking to family as this would be the last season for Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard as they both announced it in a press conference there was special people there to see there opening day to there final season

Y/n was in the zone he had his headphones in and was warming up the best he could, ever since that ACL injury he has pushed himself to get better and better everyday and that was his motivation to even just get out of bed every morning

Y/n: Zach what are you doing here I thought you had a big shoot with 100 Theives today

Zach: yeah we do it was a one v one 2hype tournament on the Brooklyn court and then the best paintball place in the country for the 100 Theives shoot and they gave us all front and second row tickets for the game

Y/n: wait all of you even 100 Theives

Zach: yeah man... wait did Brooke tell you that she wouldn't be able to come

Y/n: yeah well where are they

Zach: getting food they were Hungry

Y/n: oh ok

Zach: ....how about this I won't tell anyone that I we had this conversation and make it look like you don't know that she is here but i need you to show out and play the best you can so you suprise her even if you coming of the bench

Y/n: (thinking) oh he doesn't know I'm starting
(Saying) yeah sure ima be better than the six man

Zach goes for a fist bump and y/n goes with it and keeps on practicing

Tip-off had just happened and the ball was officially in play and there was no hesitation for the Nets to get the first points on the board by passing it to KD (of course) and getting and easy mid range fadeaway shot off one leg and swishing it

Frank: come on come on we can't let them have those easy shots

Thomas says as he passes the ball to y/n

Y/n dribbles the ball to the top of the key and Thomas sets a screen as y/n runs to the left and makes the defender run into Thomas, Thomas runs to the paint and y/n passes the ball to him and got the first points of the game for the lakers

3rd quarter

Y/n: ok so I only have 6 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal...... it's time for a show

And there he goes as the ball passed in, he dribbles the ball to half court and scans the area for any open lanes to the basket or any open areas for an easy mid range shot and he found one alright and he didn't hesitate to take it as he runs to the basket and dunks it as he gets a small little pop from the crowd but a big enough one for and away crowd

Zach: oh shit that was a big one

But y/n wasn't done yet after a good defensive stop y/n gets the rebound dribbles to half court and just drains a three from the logo

Cash: Oh my gosh from the god damn logo he is insane

Y/n just kept going off and would show out play after play and he even would make a play that would shock even crowd that was against him

2hype: oooooooh

Announcers: O MY GOD WHAT AN INSANE DUNK BY Y/N WANT A INSANE SHOWING FROM THE ROOKIE

Anthony: LETS GO THATS WHAT IM TAKING ABOUT Y/N

Y/n didn't hesitate on defense either as he steals the ball and dunks it once again and going on a complete hot streak

Zach: bro holy shit he's just to good

And with that there was only 1 minute left in the 3rd quarter and y/n now had 27 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals
