A Hogwarts Reunion

Chapter 2

Hola again, some of the characters in this chapter belong to Rick Riordan. I'll give a shoutout to anyone who can guess who I'm talking about (which is probably everyone...). So that there is no confusion about Ron: Hermione and Ron dated a bit after the war but had a messy breakup. Ginny had helped her get back on her feet and they became best friends. Ginny and Harry never went back to dating after their relationship in book 6.

Harry Potter sat at his desk in his office, looking over some papers.
After the war he had been given, along with Ron, the chance to start Auror  training without taking their newts. A few days after the offer came, Hermione and Ginny had disappeared. After that with nothing keeping him, he agreed to start auror training.

Three years later he met the love of his life, a Ravenclaw in his year named Amanda. A year later they were married. At 23 they had their daughter Lily Alexa Potter, named after both their mothers who had passed. Now at 28, he was the head auror, Amanda worked in the daily prophet and Lily was 5 years old.

Ron was also doing well, he was a good auror, was dating Parvati Patil and had a nice big house. It had taken him longer then Harry to except that Hermione and Ginny were not coming back. Although he was happy with Parvati, Harry could tell a part of him still loved Hermione, despite their messy breakup.

The pecking of an owl on the window grabbed Harry's attention. It was a brown barn owl, on its leg was a letter with an all too familiar symbol. Harry was surprised, he wasn't sure why Hogwarts would send him a letter. Lily still had 6 years before she went to hogwarts.
Opening the letter he read it, a big smile on his face.

After breakfast she had dropped of her kids at kindergarten (or whatever it's called...) and went to work. Now Hermione was sitting at her desk in HMGZ fashion, designing a dress. The dress was burgundy, it had a off the shoulder type of sleeve. It reached the floor and had a cut up to the knee. It was one of the Fall dressing line she was designing, the last dress before its release in September.

"Hermione!!" A voice called from down the hall. The voice belonged to the co owner of the fashion store, Ginny Zabini. After the war Hermione couldn't stay in England, everywhere she went people took her picture trying to get a glimpse into the war heroine's life. It was too much, so Hermione had packed up and left to America only leaving her best friends Ginny and Harry a letter of farewell.

Two years later, Hermione had bumped into Draco Malfoy who immediately apologized to her. Over the next few months the two became fast friends. Then a year later Draco asked her out, she said yes and they started dating. At 22 Draco proposed and six months later they were married.

A year later the pair welcomed Leo Aries and Lyra Aquila Malfoy into the family. When the twins were three, Orion Caelum Malfoy was born completing the family. Now, two years later the Malfoys were as happy as can be.

Ginny had come along a few months after they started dating. She had gone shopping in New York and saw them out on a date. Deciding to stay in New York, she met Blaise Zabini and they got married a few weeks after the Malfoys.

Together Hermione and Ginny started HGMZ fashion, and they were very successful.
The Zabinis lived next door in a big house like the Malfoys. They had two kids: Alex and Nora.

"Hermione, we have a meeting with the architect of the new building. We have to go", Ginny said, now standing in the doorway.
Hermione got up, grabbed her jacket and walked out after Ginny.

The new building was by the empire state building. It was going to be a large building with a bigger office for Hermione with a great view. The architect, Annabeth Jackson was around Hermione's age with a daughter who was friends with Lyra.

Annabeth was pretty with blonde hair and stormy grey eyes. Her husband, Percy was also good looking with black messy hair and sea green eyes.
The Jackson's had become good friends with the Malfoys and Zabinis. They lived nearby and often came for dinner.

Hermione and Ginny walked into the meeting room, where Annabeth was sitting looking through some papers. She looked up when they entered and smiled at them.
"Good morning", she said.

Three hours later, Hermione walked out of the room to see her husband leaning against the wall.
"Hi honey, are you free for lunch?" He said smiling at her.
"Of course, let me just grab my bag".

Together the couple walked to her office where she grabbed her bag. Taking the elevator they walked out to the street.
Walking to the restaurant they talked and laughed together. When they got there they sat down at a table and ordered.
"Did you get a letter too?" Hermione asked breaking the silence.
"Yeah, we don't have to go if you don't want to", Draco said reassuring her.
"No, we should go. It's not fair if you don't get to go because of me".
"Hermione", Draco said taking her hand, "If you dont want to go then we won't".
"We should go, It's time they know how much I've changed".
"If you want to go then lets do it"

The couple finished eating and Draco walked her back. Giving his wife a peck on the lips and a hug, Draco left Hermione to her work.

A knock on the door, caused Hermione to look up. At the door stood Annabeth with a pile of papers in her hand.
"Hey, when you get the chance can you please sign these?"
Hermione smiled before responding, "of course".
Annabeth placed the papers in a neat stack in the corner of her desk.

"Annabeth!" Hermione called to her friend before she could leave.
"Yeah?"
"Would you like to come over for dinner?"
"Sure, I'll bring dessert"

Dinner time came quicker then Hermione expected. Before she knew it she was sitting around the table in the dining room of her house. Draco sat next to her with Orion by his side. Leo was on her other side next to Lyra. Zoe Jackson sat next to Lyra with her parents.

Hermione stood up with Annabeth, who insisted on helping. Together the two brought out the meat pie and mashed potatoes along with a salad the Jackson's had brought.

"So how is life?" Percy asked.
"Percy!" Annabeth smacked his arm, "sorry about that", she said to the amused couple who were staring at her.
"Annabeth", Hermione said. "Me and Ginny are going dress shopping tomorrow for a school reunion. Would you and Zoe like to come?"
"Sure", Annabeth said, "should we meet you somewhere?"
"We can come pick you up if you want?"
"Sounds great".

After that dinner passed as quickly as it arrived, and soon the Jacksons were getting ready to leave.
"Bye guys, Annabeth I'll see you tomorrow".
Annabeth smiled at her before closing the door.
