{yes I know that this is based on the EXAGGERATED RUMOR but idgaf so get over it it's good for the story ~Liv}
I knew it. I knew that we couldn't just go and enjoy our trip to New York without some shit happening, it was just our luck. I was hoping that our streak of not being noticed would continue from our Japan holiday, but it just wasn't going to happen. Poor Louise, she had been with us, she was having a panic attack because of all the chaos and the mob. Phil was nearly in tears, he had been tripped on his way to escape the crowd and was harassed for selfies. I think I may have gotten the worst of it, I couldn't make it out of the mass of people in time.
"DAN, RUN!" Phil exclaimed, as soon as he and Louise had made it out.
"I'm too slow," I said in reply, resigning to the mob.
I was forced to take multiple pictures in my way out of the crowd, wiggling through the groups of girls as best I could. When I had finally reached the edge of the mob I ran as fast as I could back to the building. Attempting to calm down Louise, Phil was sitting with her on the nearest couch in the hotel lobby. He seemed to have scraped his leg when he was tripped but otherwise they both seemed physically alright.
"Are you two okay??" I ran over to them and sat down next to Phil.
"Yeah, we're fine, what about you Dan?" Louise asked, taking deep breaths.
"Oh don't worry about me, I just wanted to make sure neither of you were hurt or anything. If you're feeling alright, we should head upstairs," I said.
Phil nodded and guided her gently to a standing position, and we started walking towards the elevator. As soon as we arrived on our floor, we said goodbye to Louise as we went into our respective rooms. Phil flopped down on the stiff mattress, the audible creaking leading me to think that I'll have a difficult time sleeping on it tonight. It was only 4:30, so we went to our still packed suitcases and pulled out our DS's. I jumped onto the couch, Phil following soon after, and we played Pokèmon (I know, NERDS) until we left for dinner. We ambled around for a while with some other youtubers until we came upon a small pizza restaurant. We all grabbed one of the largest tables we could in order to fit all of us around it. As we ate our food, we sat and talked, avoiding the mob topic. It was a fairly pleasant meal, and as we noticed the sky growing dim we headed back to the hotels. When we arrived within a block or so radius of the building we all looked around to make sure no one was going to crowd around us. A collective silent sigh of relief that no one was there emitted from us, and we all went to our separate floors and rooms.

"Fuck- PHILLLL," I said, groaning slightly and throwing my DS onto the couch.
"Oh shut up Dan, you're just mad because I won again," Phil replied with a smirk. "Admit it, I'm better at Mario Kart, at least on the DS."
"Ugh, fine Phil, have your bloody victory," I made known with utmost sarcasm that I was playfully displeased.
Phil, grinning at me, walked over to ruffle my hair much to my annoyance. We had had the huge creators's thing at YouTube earlier that day and we were both exhausted. There was this silence you can only have between best friends, this companionable quiet with the underlying message that we were both retiring to slumber. No words needed to be spoken to convey that; and I think that that is what marks a true friendship, knowing each other so well that you seem to think the same thoughts. I pondered on this while we prepared to go to sleep, and still neither one of us said a word until Phil broke the silence with a quiet, "'night, Dan." And with that we fell asleep.
