In the Snow [Luca x Aesop]

I remember that day, everything was... white. 

I was conducting an experiment outside the city walls during a snowy day. It was freezing cold but I still stood there, determined to accomplish my goal.

My scarf was swinging along the ruthless wind and my hair kept sticking in the middle of my face.

I continued to walk in the thick white coat until something suddenly struck me.

It was you.

Unconscious.

Clad in white and golden hair.

Despite the weather, you were laying in the snow so peacefully and I thought for a moment that you were an angel.

Quite funny coming from someone who only swears by science.

I was stuck on the ground for a moment, awestruck.

Then when rationality finally came back to me, I brought you to my home.

I waited for you to wake up while sitting next to the bed I lent you.

After what seemed to last forever, you finally woke up.

Your green eyes seemed to see things beyond imagination as you were still in a daze.

Slowly, you stood up and looked at me straight in the eye, and said,

"You saved me. To thank you... I shall grant you a wish." were your words.

It was a rather strange awakening but for some unknown reason I decided to play along so I answered,

"In this case, can you stay here a bit longer?"
