"Ow!" a small girl stumbles on the hard dirt road. The sound of laughing children echo from afar. They had left her behind and forgot that she was in the group. She was alone now, sitting in the dirt, holding her hands onto the wound on her knee. The dark shades of blood leave nasty marks onto her finger tips. The girl bites her bottom lip as tears well up in her eyes. This was one of her most vulnerable moments and unfortunately there wasn't much to be done.

She couldn't think to have a med kit on hand, nor was she able to predict the future. She's was only just a child after all, if the adults couldn't help her, who could? Even with this in mind, she knew there was no time to feel sorry for herself. With all of the strength in her body, she began limping to a near by tree and sat under it. She shuffles her long white hair to fix her position comfortably. She tilts her head up to keep herself from crying. That's when small droplets of water beginning landing on her face.

The droplets start forming into a larger and larger mass of pouring weather. She looks back down and stares as the water gushes itself all onto her wound. She groans in agony, not sure what to do. She had little to no strength to get up and there was no one to go to for help. Instead, she tries thinking of ways that this could be helpful. Maybe the water could clear up any dirt or excess germs that could've given her a disease. That didn't make much sense, but it was the only thing that kept her from completely losing it.

Just when she believed she was stuck there, miserable, a large shadow appears in front of her feet. Suddenly the surface above her is dry and her body is more cold. Looking up, she meets the gaze of another young girl. The little lady has lengthy brown hair and crimson red eyes. Her cheeks are pink and her expression shows worry and fear while staring back in awe. In her hand, a large umbrella, a stall dirty looking blue color. She kneels down and notices the injury.

Before the white haired girl could even react, the brunette started reaching into her back pocket. She gets even closer to the wound and pulls out a small bandage. "What are you doing?" she chimes loudly, startling the brunette. She signals her to relax by moving her hands down slowly. The white haired girl sighs and continues watching the other female's movements. Carefully, she lays the band-aid on and makes sure to seal it perfectly on the lady in front of her.

They stare back into each other's eyes, both so lost in what just happened. More like, mostly lost in each other. "What's your name?" the limping girl asks. "Beidou..my name is..Beidou. How about you?" Beidou answers in sympathy. The recovering girl smiles sadly, "I'm Ningguang."

Beidou smiles back too and decides to sit with her under the tree, the umbrella still towering over the two. They talk more about themselves and other topics that find themself into the conversation. Laughter and sorrows are shared as the two can only focus on each other. Their issues were slightly similar, though with alterations. Ningguang couldn't understand why, but she felt so connected with her.

This was all so new. Ningguang wasn't a total loner, but she had prefer to stay hard working and often didn't focus on socializing unless she had to. Her passion was mostly giving people a better life, specifically her family. She had no interest in pleasing or dealing with people who didn't matter to her. This has led to mix ups to her bluntness from time to time. Thankfully, that was rare.

While they go through topic to topic, a question pops up in Beidou's head. "What are you doing all alone here?" she questions in concern. Ningguang's smile fades away again, not prepared to answer. "Well I was with a group. We were all hanging out until then..I fell and got left behind." she sighs in shame and Beidou's mood drops as well. "What? Shouldn't they have noticed that you're gone?" Beidou chirps in worry.

"It's okay. I don't even know some of them that well anyway. And besides," Ningguang continues, "I don't think they even care that I'm gone." Beidou's eyes shift back onto the wound, even after it's patched. "Yeah, but..that's a little messed up." her response is  executed in a tone of sadness. Ningguang looks back at her for a moment before she starts giggling softly. Beidou stares at her in surprise and raises an eyebrow.
