I woke up to someone viciously shaking my shoulders. I squinted my eyes, not even halfway to being woken up. What year is it? I looked unconsciously around the room. White walls, a window, my camera on a nightstand, red screaming Aga, green suitcase... wait, screaming Aga? I tried to focus as much as I could, but I was able to only catch random words. Radek. Apollo Tajner. An ambulance. Ijo Ijo. Fuck, how much did I drink yesterday?

"Aga, please, my head is about to explode. Once again, why are you waking me up now?"

"RADEK HAD AN ACCIDENT, HIS BINDING BROKE! HE'S GOING TO THE HOSPITAL, QUICK!"

And with that, I was awake in 5 seconds. Shit, shit, shit. I threw on random stuff I had in my suitcase, grabbed my car keys and stormed out of the hotel room.

How did this even happen? They have equipment controls all the time. I ran out of the lobby straight to the parking lot. When I was starting my engine, I saw Thomas Lackner and Daniel Tschofenig standing in the corner. And I swear, I saw them smiling.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Miss, you can't go in there, you are not related."
"But we're FRIENDS! Can you at least tell me if he's going to be fine?"
"I'm afraid we can't share private information."
"But-" I was already ugly crying, probably looking like a tomato.
"It's okay, she can come." I heard his very weak voice. This stupid nurse let me in and when I saw him my heart shattered. He had bruises all over his face, his right leg covered with plaster. All those cables looked like a pack of gummy worms. Even though I wasn't sure he sees me, I walked straight to him and cried on his chest. He started calming me down.
"Don't cry my angel, I am fine."
"Y-you c-could have d-died there!" a big sob escaped my mouth. All of a sudden, his facial expression changed. He was super serious, I've never seen him like that. He grabbed my shoulders and moved me away from his body. I looked in his eyes.
"Róża, I have to tell you something."
TWO YEARS AGO...
"RadaRada, do you copy?" Roman asked silently while hiding behind the huge pine. To his surprise, there was no response.
"RadaRada? RADARADA, DO YOU COPY??"
"Holy shit Boss, do you have to scream THAT loud?!"
"Shit, sorry Nelétavý. But it's not my fault that dickhead is not responding. Radek, do you see stuff or not?"
All they heard was never-ending silence. Roman peaked from behind his tree, trying to see if his team is ready. The mission was not impossible, but for sure it wasn't the easiest either. He saw Vojtech's binoculars blinking from the closest bush. Good, at least one reliable person. The rest of the squad was invisible, and the worst part was that they gave Radek the very first base with instruction to alarm them when the truck arrives. Never again.
"Rada, I swear to God – if you don't answer in 3 minutes, I'm changing the wifi password."
"OKAY okay sorry mate, I've just got distracted by—"
"A girl? Was she blonde?"
Roman was sure his facepalm was hearable from at least 5 miles.
"Who cares if she was blonde or ginger! I work with idiots... Can y'all behave for just 5 minutes? FIVE. MINUTES."
"It's here! I see the truck! Guys code pink, code pink, the Manners arrived."
Indeed, the truck was just a few kilometres from them. The plan was easy – Leckerlackner pretends something's wrong and stops the truck. Tschofenig sneaks out and opens the back doors. The whole český gang has exactly 4 minutes and 20 seconds to pack Manners and run away unnoticed. Then, they sell them illegally in the basement of Harrachov's hill and split the income, 69% for them and 31% for the Austrians. Well, what can go wrong?
After 4 minutes and 15 seconds, they were already in the woods, running away through the border back to the Czech Republic. Everything was fine until Roman heard a loud splash.
"Guys, what's going on?"
"Shit- um... Boss?" Roman felt that was not good information. Radek was speaking quietly and not confident at all. "I- I might have fallen into the water and um- and the stuff... has flown away with the river..."
"DĚLÁŠ SI SRANDU? TY ČURÁKU ZASRANEJ! BLBEC!"
...AND BACK TO REALITY
„So you've lost Manners while smuggling them and you owe Thomas money?"
„Yeah, basically."
Okay, co kurwa. I couldn't believe he was a smuggler. A MANNER SMUGGLER. All that time he was not the innocent, cute and flirty guy. He was a dangerous criminal! Oh Lord, why did I choose to befriend him? But he claimed it was past him and now he has changed. My mind went blank. Should I believe him?
"Well, at least now it makes sense why you're driving that red Lamborghini..." he chuckled but waited for my response. I took a deep breath. Should I trust him? But what if he's lying once again? Do I want to have someone with a criminal record among my closest friends? On the other hand, I knew I liked him more than I should. I sighed and looked at him. Will I give him a chance?
"So?"
"They say good boys go to heaven..." I did a dramatic pause. He held his breath. "...but bad boys bring heaven to you."
In the end, łobuz kocha najmocniej.
