Chapter 6 (End)

That night, Steve was allowed to come home. On the way back, you took Tony's yellow sports car. Problem was, you couldn't all fit, so, you sat on Steve's lap. You didn't mind, neither did he. Back at the tower, you were considered part of the team, family. You still stayed with Steve, but no one seemed to mind. By now it was around 8:00pm, and Steve was still a little sleepy. So, you all decided to go to bed. Steve went to bed first, so you decided to take your time changing and all. Even jamming out to the pop radio with Tony before you went to bed. You knew Steve could see you through the mirror, so you would act like you were singing to him. When you did finally get to bed, Steve turned to face you. You just smiled at him and ruffled his soft, blonde hair. In response, he chuckled and did the same to you.

"Goodnight, Captain America," You say, snuggling up to him.

"Goodnight, (Name),"Cap says, pulling you close.

*IT IS NOW MORNING*

When you wake up, you find that Steve was still asleep. So, you decide to make him some breakfast. You put on one of Steve's shirts, as yours were all at your apartment still. It had the shield on it, of course. as you walked down the long and somewhat narrow halls of the tower, you thought that you were the only one awake. Usually, you tend to wake up early, but it wasn't too early today. When you reached the kitchen, you proved that point wrong. Clint was sitting on the counter, eating his two bananas. As he took a sip of his coffee from his mug with an arrow on it, he nodded to say to you Good Morning. You walked to the drawers and counters, turning on the stove and getting the ingredients needed to make Steve the perfect breakfast.

"Why are you up so early, Clint?" you ask, cracking two eggs into the pan and opening the package of sausage.

"Early bird gets the worm!" he says in response, hopping off the counter, "Want some help?"

You laughed at his remark and nodded, thankful for his help. When you finished the breakfast, you put it on a small tray and carried it back to Steve's room. You gently set it down on his nightstand. Smirking, you take a few steps back. You then run at full speed and jump onto Steve, hugging him and yelling "Good Morning!" Steve wakes up with an Oof! and smiles at you.

"Morning, (Name). what was that for?" he laughed.

"For this, to wake you up!" you say, giggling as you roll off him.

"You couldn't have thought of a more subtle way to wake me up, could you?" he ask, knowing the answer was a no.

Steve sat up in his bed, which is when you handed him the tray, smiling brightly. Steve looked a little shocked at first, but ate it willingly, smiling at you.

"(Name), what's this?" he asked, taking a bite of the eggs.

"Well, I woke up early and decided to make you breakfast. Do you like it?" you say, grabbing onto Steve's shoulder and resting your chin on it.

"I don't like it (Name), I love it." Steve started. He pressed a soft kiss on your lips and said, "Not as much as I love you, though."

After Steve finished his breakfast, he set the tray aside and got up. He walked over to the bathroom and you saw him through the mirror. He splashed some water over his face, waking himself up even more, like he needed it. He then dried it with a blue towel, which was only slightly darker than his own icy blue eyes. He then stood in the doorway with his white tank top on. You frowned a little, silent. Steve walked over to you, grabbing your hand and planting himself next to you on the bed.

"What's wrong?"

"What did I do to deserve someone like you, Steve?" You ask, laying down, your head on his lap.

"Nothing. You are that perfect."

You smile and ask Steve," Can we go to the Smithsonian today? Please?"

"Yea, there is an exhibit I've been wanting to see for a while now,"He said as you sit up. He extends an arm and places it on your cheek. You lean forward, kissing the one, the only, Captain America.

"Hey (Name), you know what?" he says.

"What?" you ask, looking into his light blue eyes.

"I'm with you until the end of the line." Steve responds, kissing you deeply.
