Duncan and Ace got to the hotel with small talk, Duncan got to know Ace a little not that much though, Duncan learnt that Ace is an only child and he lives with his parents in Devon, it was a little strange to hear that a 27 year old is still living with his parents but Ace explained he's saving up for his dream car and so he can build his dream home, Ace already has a plot of land picked out and waiting.
Duncan: That all I'm getting out of you?
Duncan asked as they got to his hotel room, Ace nodded following him into the room.
Ace: Yeah, pretty much.
Duncan appreciated that he didn't want to spill his life story and that's fine, Ace must have a few trust issues that maybe one day he'll talk about but that's a story for another day.
Duncan: You got swim shorts?
Ace was flicking through a magazine waiting for Duncan to get ready, Ace wrestled in Jeans and trainers so what he's wearing is good enough for him, he won't be wearing them for long anyway, Ace will find something to do.
Ace: You not gonna buy me dinner first?
Ace answered making Duncan sigh looking over to him while picking out a pair of his own shorts.
Duncan: Don't be an ass, it's a pool party now go get changed.
Ace didn't like being talked to like that very much but he didn't really care at this point, Ace has other things on his mind and wanted to get to the party and have a little fun to relax from the his debut and that reaction he got.
Ace: Alright, I'll meet you down there.
Ace left the big guys room and made it to his own just down the hall to get changed, Ace travels light but he always has an outfit for all occasions, a spare set of clothes encase what he's wearing gets ruined, spare underwear, smart clothes and encase he want's to swim, swim shorts.
Ace got changed and left his room heading towards the pool after putting on some deodorant, doesn't hurt to smell nice and look good.
Ace made it out to the pool and saw a few of the AEW Superstars having fun, not just them but assumingly some hotel guest taking part in the fun and having a good time.
Duncan: Ace!
Ace spun on his heels and saw Duncan coming towards him with other AEW stars, Ruby Soho, Adam Cole and Brit Bakker, Duncan introduced him to them and they got to talking, Ace seemed like a nice guy but the thing is, he's good at telling people what they want to hear.
Ace: Who's that...?
Ace asked looking off to the side pointing in a direction, they all followed his look to see a friend of their's...
