Phoenix Backstory

Phoenix's eyes fluttered open as she looked around to take in her surroundings. It was just a plane white room with only one bright light in the middle of the ceiling. Her body was sitting in a corner. She looked to her right and saw another person in the corner to her left.

¨H-Hello?¨ Phoenix said nervously.

The unknown person looked up at her to show a mask with 2 glowing white ovals as the eyes and a glowing white smile as the mouth. 

¨Who are you?¨ They said.

¨My names Phoenix. Phoenix Nakamura, whats yours?¨

¨Maggie. Just call me Mags..¨

¨Oh, nice to meet you mags.¨

¨Nice to meet you too..¨

¨Hey..What are those?¨ Phoenix pointed at something on mags head. Due to it being dark she could not see what it was.

¨Wolf ears.¨ Mags responded

¨Oohh¨ Phoenix exclaimed.

Phoenix felt something moving on her tail bone so she looked back and saw at least a 4 foot tail with a lamp at the end. 

¨Woah...Hey look!¨ Phoenix told Mags.

¨Oh... Nice...!¨

¨How do I light it though?..hm ¨

¨Try imagining it lit¨ Mags said in response 

She did exactly what Mags said and surprisingly it lit.

¨Woah!¨Phoenix exclaims.

¨I thought it would work cause it did for me with my tail¨ Mags said as she got up and wagged her tail.

¨Ooh..¨

¨Its a little annoying...Any sudden emotion makes my tail wag without me even trying..¨ Mags said sounding annoyed.

Mags sat back down and there was a awkward silence for a minute or two. Phoenix decided to break that silence.

¨Hey, how did you get here?¨Phoenix asked.

¨ I was running away from my home..¨Mags said.

¨Same..They killed my little sister...She was 4!¨ Phoenix said getting louder with every word.

¨I met a baby wolf...They took it and I don't know where it is now..Its probably dead..¨ Mags said sadly.

¨Bastards...¨ Phoenix mumbles.

¨ Oh well. We need to get used to our new bodies so we can escape successfully.¨ Mags said changing the subject.

¨Okay, so from what I have learned so far is that at about 11PM the light shut off and all workers leave the building.¨ Phoenix said seriously.

¨Alright good, We need a plan to escape now. They have alarms that go off if you attack one of them...¨

¨Fuck...¨ Phoenix mumbled 

¨And Im assuming if we try to leave as well.¨

Phoenix saw a drawer next to her ¨Hey..¨ She opened the drawer and saw a paper with A LOT of writing on it. ¨Uhh¨ She read the top of the paper and it said, ¨ Serums to give subject 177 and 184.¨ ¨Hey look at this!¨Phoenix yelled to Mags.

Mags went over to Phoenix and read the top of the page. Mags mumbled out loud to herself, ¨What? Serums? Let me see here...¨ Mags grabbed the page from Phoenix's hands.

¨What does it say?¨ Phoenix asked curiously. 

¨I dont know..Its to hard to read..¨ Mags said quietly.
