"W-wait a second," I laughed nervously, "I think you guys are mistaken.""No we're not!" they all protested before glaring at each other.
"We can't all be mates," I said exasperated, "you're only suppose to have one mate, right?"
"That's right," Bennett said, grabbing ahold of my hands, "and your my mate." He kissed my knuckles and I blushed.
"Hey, hey!" Xavier protested, breaking us apart, "She's not your mate, she's mine!"
"No," Jordan insisted, "She's mine."
"Well I met her before both of you did," Bennett argued.
The other two boys gasped, "When'd you meet her?"
"Fifth period," Bennett said grandly.
"Well, I ran into her after lunch," Xavier said smugly, and Bennett glowered at him.
"Well," Jordan piped up, "I met her way before both of you."
Xavier and Bennett glared at him, "Oh yeah, when?"
"Right before school," Jordan bragged, "She even rode my motorcycle."
The boys gasped.
"You-you guys."
They all turned to face me.
I shifted nervously under their heated stares, "Why now?"
"Huh?" Xavier said.
"Why have you guys found me now? Why didn't you tell me we were mates when me met?"
"I don't know," Bennett mused, "I didn't smell you until now..."
"Same," Jordan said slowly.
"Yeah," Xavier agreed.
"I didn't eve know you were a wolf," Xavier admitted, "I just thought you were hot."
Both of the boys gasped and simultaneously punched Xavier.
"Don't talk to my mate that way," Jordan growled lowly, emphasizing the word 'my.'
"I think I can tell my mate that she's hot," Xavier ran his clear blue eyes up and down my body, "Because I'm so damn lucky to have her," he said huskily.
"Quit kidding yourselves," Bennett scoffed, "I think you mean my mate." Bennett glared at Xavier and Jordan.
"You guys!"
Their attention was back on me.
"Let's figure this out, okay?"
The boys nodded and I smiled.

"Mom, can I go hang out with some friends on for the rest of the afternoon?"
I was calling my mom after the boys insisted that they hang out with their 'mate.'
"Wait," my mom said shocked, "You-you have friends?"
"Wow Mom," I said sarcastically, "Thanks."
"Of course you can hang out with them!" She exclaimed, visibly excited, "In fact, go and sleepover at their place!"
"What?" I nearly shrieked into the phone, "You don't even know them!"
But my mother ignored me, "My baby finally has friends," she squealed then hung up on me.
I turned to face the boys who had excited looks on their faces.
"Yay!" Jordan cheered lifting me up and hugging me, "you get to sleep over at my place!"
