Ella Gets Promoted to Honorary Corporal of Anti School Violence

Ella, who has served as an honorary ambassador for the prevention and eradication of school violence since February 2012, has recently been promoted from honorary police officer to the rank of corporal.

On November 6, a promotion ceremony was held in Seoul where Ella was officially recognized for her continued contributions. Her efforts include participating in a signing event to promote awareness of school violence prevention, appearing in the “Making a Safe Community” campaign video targeting the eradication of the “Four Major Evils of Society,” and actively promoting the emergency hotline 117—a lifeline for students experiencing school violence.

“I don’t think I’ve done anything grand, but I’m thankful for the promotion,” Ella said humbly. “I’ll continue to take part in these efforts and do so confidently, without hesitation.”

Ella will hold the honorary rank of corporal for two years, until November 5, 2016.
