CHAPTER 5

NATASHA

"Are you kidding me Natasha? you're trusting her again? after all what she has done to the both of us?" Yelena scoffs when Y/N turns her back to us

"I don't trust her, Yelena, for the record, and as I said earlier we needed her to bring down the Red Room....." I take the drive and show it to her

"Like this" she rolled her eyes while sipping her beer

"Yeah, who knows that it's connected to Dreykov? that there's a little tracking chip in there" she scoff rolling her eyes and smelling the beer

"Well.." I shrug and open the body to see that there's no tracking chip planted inside

"Safe" I declare, she just nod sipping her beer so I stand up and go to my trailer and get my laptop out and go back to Yelena

"Let's see what's inside of these" I insert the drive in the portable then open the files inside it

I smirked when I saw the useful information we needed, well bringing her here to the mission is worth it too tho

"What did you see?" Yelena asked and I turned the laptop to her and she read the files

"Well she can be useful too" Yelena just shrugs so I roll my eyes to her

I don't trust Y/N but I have this feeling that we needed her for this, besides she's one of them, of us, we share the same memory so it's better to do this mission where we know the roots of it

Then we heard something behind me, I look back looking at my surroundings carefully and that's when a knife throw at my direction but I quickly dodge it with Yelena and lands it to the driver seat of Y/L/N's car, the glass break on the process making Y/L/N jolt up

"Oh shit" I mumbled when I saw the blue armor, the same one who attacked me earlier

"Get inside!" I shouted and Yelena quickly got in the car. So was I and drove quickly but that didn't stop her from attacking us and following us, she got in a motorbike and chased after us

"Shit" Y/N mumbled when she looked at who's chasing us, I looked at her with eyebrows frown and back to the road, going over speeding

"That's the Taskmaker, the greatest weapon of Dreykov" she said, I can't believe what I've heard, how can she know all of this? Maybe she's still one of them

"it's in the file I give you, if you're wondering why I know that" she scoff loading her gun and making her back face the front of the car

"Oh really?!" I scoff and I heard Yelena did the same

"Stop it, for God sake, there's a robot or what they are chasing us, ready to kill us" Yelena shouts, then Y/n start firing a bullet to it

"A bullet wouldn't kill that thing, you're just wasting your magazines!" I scoff at Y/N who was still firing

"I'm not aiming for her, God can you just shut up and drive, let me do what I have to do!" she spat back and Yelena joined her, I grip the steering wheel, calming myself down

I just focused on driving and they were firing a bullet, making sure they didn't get themselves shot, and I saw in the rearview mirror that they were getting nearer so I sped up

"Just one shot" Y/N mumbled and fired a bullet. That's when something exploded, looking back, I saw that the motorbike exploded

"Ha!" Yelena shouted but that didn't last long because something, or someone landed on top of the car then suddenly a sword went between me and Y/L/N

"Oh shit, shit shit" I chant and speed the car more and try to throw them away

"Turn left!" Y/N shouted and brought her half body out of the window firing bullets again

So I turn left that makes Y/L/N nearly thrown away but she manages to hold on but the Taskmaker is still on top of us

I shook my head and saw a subway at the right so I quickly went there, drifting off when I parked the car on the sidewalk, which made this thing thrown into the wall

"Out, Now!" I shouted at them and they quickly went out, Y/L/N putting her sling bag on over her body

"They are coming, run!" Yelena shouted so we quickly went down to the subway

They throw their shield to Yelena but Yelena manages to duck before it hits the back of her head and they throw again but this time it was a knife and they are really aiming it at Yelena cause she's at the back

"Yelena move over!" I shout when they throw the knife and this time I know this probably will hit her, 'cause she's still sliding forward

"Yelena!" I shout and gonna cover her up but Y/L/N already did and fire a widow bite on their chest making them stop for a seconds

"Move now!" Y/L/N shouted when we got our chance so we nodded and went down, sliding to the middle of the escalator and the shield went flying again

"Argh" we all groan when we land and quickly move going to the vent to escape them
