i was at the bar cleaning and i started singing my gig we were singing a cover. and there was this feeling in my stomach i felt so in pain and ran off the stage and went to bailey she gave me my purse and i went into the bathroom
"shit shit shit" i say grabbing the last amount of my medication
when i look up i see a military sticker i had an idea
"oh fuck me" i say throwing my medication bottle out
the next day i decided to pursue my idea and i end up knocking at frankie's door
"hello..frankie?" i say yelling at the door
then luke the guy from the bar opens the door
"oh hello you're not frankie" i say he laughs a bit
"so what happens to the men in the future? is it a plague? robot wars?" he says crossing his arms
"do you really want to know"i say he nods his head
"it doesn't end well for the bros" i say
"is that your car?" he says pointing to it
this is your car
"oh yeah my lexus" i say
"come on in" frankie says
"hi!!dude the banners, your parents are so proud" i say
"you know my momma" he says hugging me
luke walks up behind us
"would you mind giving us a minute?" i say smiling
"thanks" frankie says
"of course" luke says rolling his eyes and walking outside
"you hungry want something?" he says smiling
"no i'm okay" i say
"so what's the big question girl?" he says
"it's uh.. gonna sound a little crazy." i say
"i'm ready" he says
"i was wondering if you would like to marry me" i say laughing
"what?" he says laughing in disbelief
"i'm serious" i say
"are you okay?" he says laughing still
"not exactly um..i found out six months ago i have a really bad eating disorder and high blood pressure and uh get this the insurance i have doesn't actually cover the medication that i need to like live.so i can either pay of my debt .or pay my rent but i just i can't do both" i say
"i'm so sorry" he says
"and i'm like there's gotta be another way right? turns out there is your friend gave me the idea when you guys came to the bar marine spouses get full heath benefits and we get extra pay just for being married like basic housing allowance and separation pay which adds up to be pretty decent and we could split it and everybody wins what do you think? take your time" i say
