Noah's POV

Me and Mads have gone into secondary school not so long ago now and I'm loving it, I have more friends than I thought but I'm not so sure about Mads, I feel like she should be the most popular but she's not and let's just say not too many people are nice to her.

"What classes have you got today" I ask
"Just the standard maths English double science and pe" she says
"We'll when we both have free time why don't you come sit with me" I say hoping she'll say yes
"Definitely not, no offence Noah I love you but them lads will not like me" she says walking ahead of me
"Oh come in Mads I'm sure they'll like you"
"See you later sucker" she's says walking off

I just wanna spend time with my sister I hate seeing her feel like she can come sit with me or be with me in school it's like she feels like everyone's gonna judge her but that's never stopped her before so I don't know what it could be.

Maddison's POV

I'm happy that Noah has his friends, it's great to see him getting in with other people instead of shying away from the crowd. I hate school already and I hate all the lessons apart from science for some reason it just clicks into my head and plus my teacher if my favourite and I can talk to him about anything so it's great. I don't really have any friends here but it doesn't bother me that much I like being on my own for the most part but as soon as people start treating me like crap or talking down to me we're gonna have I big problem.

It's break and I'm sat In my teachers room when I get a message

Dad~ hey just wanna let you know that you'll be staying with Chris for a while

Mads~ why?

Dad~ me and mom are working on a new film so we're about to fly out I thought she told you but she said she didn't so I was just letting you know

Mads~ oh okay well have fun then

I put my phone down and let out a big groan

"What's up with you?" My teacher says
"My mom and dad have flew out of town for work" I say lifting my head if the desk
"Is that a bad thing though because I know how much you say you don't like being at home" he asks
"We'll I mean no but I'd much rather stay on my own then go to my pops house" I say
"Well by the things you have told me I would say the best option is to stay at his house for your own sake" he states
"Yeah I guess your right but I know I definitely won't get my privacy at all" I say letting out a sigh
"Take that step when it comes to it okay, I'm sure he will be understanding all you have to do is put it in away where you don't come across rude like you do sometimes and just say look I'd really appreciate having my own privacy because I need some space" he says

like he always knows the best things to say to me and I don't know how he does it but he's one of the only people that can get through to me.

"Yeah I know bu-" he cuts me off
"Don't think about the negatives because it will only put you off just think of a good outcome which I know can be hard for you but all I ask of you is to try ok" he says turning his chair to look at me
" okay okay your right you always are thank you for helping me" I say smiling
"Don't worry about it now get yourself of and try to enjoy the rest of you day" he says
"Can't guarantee anything" I say walking out laughing

I finish the rest of my day and wait for Noah to start walking home.

"Hey squishy" he says coming from behind me
"Hey your ready to go" I ask
"Yeah"
"Oh by the way dad messaged me saying we're staying with Chris for a while because him and mom are filming and like usual mom forgot to tell us" I say rolling my eyes
"Oh ok" he says unfazed by what I said

We got home packed some stuff and waited for chris to pick us up.
I don't hate Chris I just don't like how overly protective he his like sometimes he can be suffocating and I don't like that I mean he is nice but we're not close like that.

Chris' POV

I go to pick Maddison and Noah up, I'm glad there staying with me for a while I haven't seen them in sometime so I guess it'll be nice to spend sometime bonding with them. I honk the horn letting them know I'm here.

"How have you been" I ask
"Really good actually made loads of new friends" Noah says chirpily
"What about you Maddison?"
"Yeah fine" she says without taking her eyes of her phone
"What you doing" I say
"Putting some music on" she huffs out
"Ok then....where do you wanna go for lunch?" I ask looking at Noah then Maddison in the mirror
"McDonald's please" Noah says
"Is that okay" I say looking at Maddison realising she got her earphones in
"Yeah she'll be fine with that" Noah says
"Okay let's go"

I'm trying to think of why Maddison is being cold towards me it's not like I have done something wrong have i? No don't think like you always try your best to communicate with her.

Once we get home me and Noah take out food into the kitchen while Maddison take hers straight to her room.

"What wrong with her" I ask Noah
"I'm not sure I know she doesn't like school but I doubt it's that" he says
"Why doesn't she like it?" I say looking at him
"We'll she doesn't really have any friends and she hates her lessons" he states
"Oh....okay I might talk to her"
"She's not gonna like that, she doesn't talk to anyone except me and she never talks to me about school so I doubt it's about that"

I think about what Noah's saying but I don't care I'm going to speak to her and if she doesn't like it that's tough. I finish my food and head up to Maddison's room.

"Hey" I say walking into her room
"Do you not know how to knock some privacy would be nice" she says snarling at me
"Ok don't bite my head off I'll make sure to knock next time" I say holding my hands up
"What" she says once she realises I'm not leaving
" I just want to talk to you" I say
"About?" She looks at my frowning
"I don't know.. school?" I say sitting in her bed
"I don't know what you mean" she says going back to her phone
"Look I know school can be difficult and it's not always easy on people I just wanna know what's going on" I say looking at her
"Nothing going on it's going perfectly fine" she slouching herself against the wall
"We'll you know I'm not going to believe that so you might aswell tell me" I say slightly shaking her leg
"Nothing is going on so will just leave me alone" she says starting to loose her temper with me
"I'm just trying to help Mads"
"Don't call me that" she say looking at me "I'm fine I don't need your help" she stands up and walks to the bathroom
"I'm sorry for calling you that and if you don't want me to help that's fine I'm not going to keep going at you but I just want you to know that you can always talk to me and I mean about anything" I say walking to the door
"Ok great can you leave now" she says as I hear her echo from the bathroom

I walk out a little hurt by the way she's acting I know somethings going on because she's like her mom when Ev use to hide things she's get defensive and not want to talk about it or says she's fine. I've seen it all before so nothing is getting past me that easily.
