Chapter - 24

"I said, you're not going anywhere Kim Taehyung." A loud, deep voice resonated through the huge living room which looked stunning with the marvelous interior design and all the expensive furnitures.

"No, he's going there.It is what makes him happy." Another voice spoke up, defending the boy who was too scared to even say something.

"No, mom.He's not.He's our son.I will never allow him to work under some entertainment company.It will spoil our reputation.He better helps me in our company if he wants to work that much." Mr. Kim said with a stern voice to his mother who was trying to take Taehyung's side.

The man didn't like how his elder son wanted to work under some company which could bring damage to their reputation.His wife was also saying the same thing since they got to know about Taehyung's selection in the company.They wanted the boy to work under their own company instead.

"He may be your son.But you are not his parents.You never acted like one.So don't bring that parents card on him now.Let him do what he wants." It was grandma Kim, who looked furious.

She thought the people who never cared for Taehyung one bit, will let him do whatever he wants just like the other times.But seeing them acting like they wanted the best for Taehyung and the way they forbade him from stepping towards his dreams, made her feel sick.She wanted the boy to get away from the toxic, money-driven people as soon as possible.Moreover, she's more than sure that her grandson will shine in the entertainment industry.

Taehyung looked at his grandmother and then at his parents with tear-filled eyes.It was hard for him to see them arguing like that.He wanted to shout and tell them to stop.All he wanted was to pursue his dream without anyone trying to hold him back.He didn't like all the shoutings in his surrounding.He didn't like how his parents mocked his grandma saying she can't decide what's right or what's wrong at this age, he hated how the two people tried to show their ownership on him all of sudden.

What did he even do?

Why don't they want him to be happy?

Why don't they think about him at least for once?

Why they hurt him so much?

Why they hurt the people who are dear to him.......

It didn't take much time to heat up the argument.Taehyung wanted to stop his grandma from talking to his so called parents.It's not like they would understand what he wants.But before he could say something -

"GRANDMAAA.." Taehyung's eyes widened when he saw his grandma's face showing pain as she clutched onto the cloth on the left side of her upper chest with the right palm.Taehyung ran towards the lady who was about to fell down.

"G-grandma..." Taehyung cried, holding the lady carefully.It hurt him to see her in such pain.

"T-tae b-bear, al-always f-follow y-your dreams ye-yeah?N-never g-give up.I a-and g-g-grand...pa a-always l-love yo-you...." The old woman said with difficulty, giving a pained smile as she caressed Taehyung's cheeks.

The boy could only cry helplessly.He looked at his grandma's teary, hopeful eyes before nodding his head.He wanted to assure her that everything will be fine, she'll be find.But even before he could register something, the lady went limp in his arms.Everything happened too fast that Taehyung saw everything blurred.

During the time Taehyung kept crying while hugging his grandmother, his parents contacted the hospital authority.They could never imagine that a mere argument would cause such a situation.Soon, the older Kim was taken to the hospital.Taehyung refused to stay at the mansion and accompanied her to the hospital with the two persons he used to call his parents, the two persons whom he started despising now.
