"Well it doesn't look like nothing," Gus stated as he observed the room Hunter was using as a makeshift home. "It looks like you slept in here."

"Why?" The boy questioned.

Hunter turned his head the other way. "The human didn't tell you."

"Luz? We haven't seen Luz in a few days. What are you going on about?"

Hunter shook his head, moving so his face wasn't towards Gus. "Never mind." He told the boy.

Gus seemed intrigued and went to push for more questions when he was suddenly aware of the state Hunter was in. He was wearing clothes that looked uncomfortable, his hair was a mess. Black bags under his eyes suggested that he didn't sleep much.

And out of all the places he went to sleep, he chose the schools storage closet.

But why?

He wasn't any safer here than he was anywhere else.

So why would he choose this place?

Gus shook the questions from his head and instead handed Hunter his lunch box.

"Here, I'm not hungry anyway."

Before Hunter could protest, Gus left.

So instead of eating and enjoying the meal. Hunter left it there, and grabbed his things and left.

Gus, a friend of the human, knew where he was. He wasn't safe and he needed to get out of there.

As he was flying away, he thought of all the other things that could have happened, and decided that this option was the safest.

He would just stay in hiding till no one knew who he was.

Till he was just a strange old Grimwalker that no one cared about.

-

As he finally landed on a strange island. He realized that he had no clue where he was. There were trees everywhere, and as he walked deeper and deeper into the forest, he found himself face to face with a palace.

Hunter had no idea what was happening. The palace, or the ruins of one, and the island were never charted on any of the maps.

So being the very good ex golden guard, Hunter went out to explore.

He was looking around, and found himself at the entrance. As he peaked inside, he got a strange feeling of nostalgia.

Stepping in further, the feelings stayed strong. He took a walk around the dark thrown room and looked all around. Upon looking up, he found that and entrance was up there.

It was a little strange that there were no stairs, but for some reason Hunter went over to a creepy looking statue in the corner.

He didn't know why. But he pushed the statues arm and a staircase popped out.

Hunter searched him memory and tried to recall how he knew that. But alas, he couldn't remember anything.

As Hunter climbed the stairs, he was met with two things. A memory, and a friend.
