At eight in the morning she peeled her eyes open again, not sure if they even had been closed for all that long. Enough... to live.

Seulgi splashed her face with water, tracing her dark circles with the pads of her index fingers but refrained from looking at herself for too long. Out of the bathroom she put on the same clothes as the day before as she refused to wash clothes already after wearing them only once. She simply didn't have enough clothes to do this, nor the time to do the laundry that often. And with throwing the stuff she needed for university into her bag in a few minutes, she was out once more. Instead of feeling refreshed by the crisp air of the morning, she felt like living a deja vu.

She went to university three days a week as she couldn't financially afford full time. But at least she could study at all, right? Yeah well, she didn't know the answer to that either. Sometimes she didn't know why she was studying at all, cause whenever someone asked her what she wanted to do with her life in the future her answer would always be: ‚I'm not sure yet. Guess I'll just see where life takes me..' It was her way of nicely talking around the point that she had no clue. What should she do with her life? She found herself asking that exact same question, even though she was supposed to be the one knowing the answer. It was troubling her. Weren't people supposed to know what they wanted to do in the future with her age? For now she was just waiting for a revelation one day, like a blinding light telling her about her purpose. Yes, that would help her a lot. One worry less on her list that just never seemed to be ending.

Outside of the house her way was again leading her over the railway crossing, waiting for the train to pass, just that this morning she would then turn right to the bus station instead of left to the restaurant. It's as if her life only knew two directions. Studying to the right, working to the left. At the bus station she pulled out her revived phone from her pocket for the first time that day only to find five messages of the same person on it. Four from sometime in the night and one having arrived this morning, but apart from that, there was nothing else. That was already one more person than most days.
