A/N: now the chapter is complete!
——————————————

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I did was look around. I saw the endless expanse of interdimensional space. All the universes looked like stars dotted across a night sky. There were countless! All are ruled by their gods. The sheer beauty of it amazed me. I flew around for a bit looking into other worlds, meeting other gods, and exploring the multiverse. All of the worlds were beautiful, filled with life of all sorts ranging from cute little animals to giant monsters. The people that inhabited them all looked very different and I found it unique. The gods of those worlds call them "mortals" or "humans." I thought calling them mortals was quite rude, even if that is what they are. It sounded almost derogatory to me. I wasn't sure why though. I eventually went back to where I was born- formed- uh... where I came into existence.

I saw someone else there, my twin brother, Yin. Well, technically. We're two halves of the same entity, Xero, so I guess that makes us the same person. I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. I refer to him as my twin brother, though we don't look anything alike.

He always wore a hood over his head so I never completely saw what he looked like. The amount of hair I did see on him was black. He also had large jet-black wings. A stark contrast to my white hair, gold eyes, and gold wings. Yin is rather pale and I have olive skin. He was just staring off into the distance, seemingly deep in thought.

"Hey, Yin!" I called him. He barely looked in my direction.

"What?" he replied coldly.

"What do you think of everything? Have you seen the other worlds? They're beautiful!"

"I have been to a few worlds and met their gods."

"Sooo... what's your opinion?"

"It doesn't concern you."

"I'm just curious," I retorted.

He turned to me and raised an eyebrow. His eyes are dark amethyst purple. His expression barely changed but I sensed his dissatisfaction. I took his hint and decided to drop the subject.

I decided to do some more exploring, entering other worlds and befriending their gods. I made a lot of new friends. I learned a lot about how things operate and they gave me advice. I explored reality and hung out and learned from other gods for many years, only seeing Yin and trying to converse with him a few times. He never really spoke to me, and the conversations we had were short. Something about him began disturbing me. He grew colder with each confrontation.

After some time, we managed to have a decent conversion, but I could never prepare myself for what transpired.

"Sooo... we did a good amount of exploring over the years and gaining some knowledge. What do you think of everything?"

He looked at me again. Something had changed in him, and it wasn't for the better.

"I stated this before, it doesn't concern you."

"But why?"

"It's my business."

"We're brothers. We should share our opinions and get to know each other."

He scoffed.

"Do you want to know my opinion?"

"Yes. I do."

He frowned at me and called me a nosy bastard under his breath.

"Okay then. I'll tell you my opinion if it will shut you up. I hate it all."

I was very taken aback by what he said.

"You hate it?"

"Yes."
