Run Away Princess

Chapter 2

When I wake up I keep my eyes close and listen for other people, no one. I remember where I am, or at least where I should have been."Ug!" I moan when I remember the last time I escaped, when I got back I was locked in my room for 3 days with bread crust and water to live off. You would think they would give me more respect, considering if I didn't get out of the wedding, I would be queen. I slowly open 1 eye, then the other. "she's waking up!" A male voice yells, in rush what sound like 4 or 5 other people. Huh, his voice doesn't sound familiar at all, but they couldn't have hired more staff while I was gone, I was only gone for a few days, right? That's when I see him, and all the others. I'm in shock... there all my age. "Where am I?" I ask. "Your in our territory" the boy states. "What are you doing in our territory?" A female voice asks, I sit up and look at all of them in turn, there are 6 in all. There's 3 girls and 3 boys, the first girl has long blond hair and fierce blue eyes and is a couple inches shorter then me. The second girl has shoulder length brown hair and deep brown eyes and is about my size, the last girl has vivid red hair and sparkling purple eyes filled with wonder and curiosity and is a few inches taller then me. The boys are all taller with me, one has black hair and bright blue eyes, a weird combination. the boy next to the red head has soft brown hair and eyes. The boy closest to me has blond hair and suspicious green eyes. "I said, what are you doing here?" The blonde question fiercely. "I ran away" I state in a what's-it-look-like? voice. "Who, might I ask are all of you?"
"I'm Sara" the red head says
"I'm Rona" the brunette says cooly "and this is KD" Rona states pointing at the blonde.
"I'm Harris" the brown headed stays, "and this is Wesley", he says pointing at the boy with black hair," and Clay" point at the suspicious blond. "And I'm... " another boy says as he enters "Dillon? " I question faintly, "Eve?" He says even fainter. "What's going on? Do you two know each other?" Harris says confused. "Yeah, guys, meet Eve...my sister" he announces. "Hi" I say quietly. "YOUR SISTER!?!" They all shout at once, "yeah, twin sister" he says as he walks across and embraces me. "I... they told me you were..." I couldn't finish the sentence, "Nope, I'm alive and well" he confirms. "Dillon, we need to talk... alone." Rona tells him as she grabs his hand and drags him outside, we could only hear a faint whispers and an occasional word. All the others where still pale, like they had seen a ghost.
[Dillon's pov]
Rona drags me out the door and whispers "you know she has to past the test, even if she is your sister" " I know I know... it's just... if she doesn't pass, we have to practically give her to whatever she's running from, please, can you give her time?" "She has 1! week, no more" she finally agrees after a minute of consideration. "yes!" I say victoriously "shh! We still have to make sure everyone else is ok with that" she says as we walk back into the room. "Guys are you okay with Eve getting an extra week to train?" 1 by 1 they all agree except Clay. "The vote is 6 to 1, sorry Clay" she says. "A week to train for what?" Eve ask, "If you want to join our group you have to have skills" Clay says coldly. "Sorry I asked" she mutters.
[A week later, Eve's pov]
Every thing is set out, the bow and arrow, the spears, agility corse and other stuff. Dillon told me to do the agility course, that it was my best chance of getting in, but there was something I didn't tell them I was going to do archery. I had been a natural at this castle, then again every time I got caught and then punished but I never missed the Bulls eye. It was next to the agility course but they couldn't affect my decision. so when the told me over the intercom to go I made it seem like I was headed for the agility course and then turn a picked up the bow and arrows, everything else in the room vanished, I looked into the window where they all were and saw the ones I trained with pale as a ghost. A target appeared 50 feet away, with one swift movement I grabbed an arrow and shot it, dead center. it vanishes and is replace 100 feet away. Again and again I shot and every time it's in the center then moved back 50 feet. Finally a target doesn't appear and the room goes dark, the intercom comes back on, "hit the red dot" Wesley says simple. I grab an arrow and close my eyes and see the room from when it started, behind I aim over my shoulder and let it fly. The lights come back on and the dot is covered by the arrow head. "Your in, defently" Dillon says trying unsuccessfully to hide his surprise. "what about the other test?" KD questions in a almost inaudible voice, "I'd be surprised if she failed" Sara says confidently. "She's right Sara, she still has take the test" Clay says. ""We have to determine your intelagents" Harris says as the room changes into a classroom with one desk with a test on top. I walk over and there's already a pencil and eraser waiting, I sit and begin. I finish in under an hour, "There is no way, you made a good grade" Clay says doubtfully. They took it out leaving me by myself, they where gone for five minutes before they came back, KD and Clay where pale, when they saw me she said "You cheated, this test, it's impossible to make a 100" "But there's also no way to cheat" Dillon beams "So not letting you in would be stupid"
