CATALINA

He really hates me. He called me a cry baby. He isn't wrong.

I whimper softly in my bed, as I hug the teddy bear tighter to my body. I hear a small knock on my door and I whisper a small "Come in."

"Mrs.Mancini the boss has requested for you to eat," Flavio announced smiling at me softly.

"I'm ok Flavio but thank you,"

"Of course Mrs.Mancini just let me know if you're hungry," Flavio waves goodbye.

Valentino wants me to eat. Does he care for me?
I don't think his generosity for me shows it.

I haven't gotten out of bed or changed, I'm still crying in bed. I'm so sensitive, that's why he doesn't want me.

I want to talk to Silas. I pick up my phone and start to dial his number, a couple of rings until he answers.

"Lina?"

"S-Silas... Silas p-please take me h-home," I sob loudly to the other side of the phone.

"Oh Lina, we're coming stay there," Silas tells me safely, I continue to sob before I hang up.

I wait until I see Silas and Aless in my room. I get up quickly and throw my arms around my brothers, it's only been two days but I missed their warm embrace.

"What did the fucker do?" Aless pulls away before wiping my tears.

I shake my head before urging them to bring me home, they nod their head reluctantly. I leave my belongings there knowing papa is going to send me right back here.

The car ride is silent, and before I know it I see home. I missed it here.

I instantly jumped out of the car before going to meet my momma. I open the door slamming the door on the wall and galloping quickly to the kitchen to see her cooking, I hug her tightly before starting to cry silently again.

"Oh baby Lina, what are you doing here?" Momma asks me, wiping my tears away.

"He really hates m-me mama," I wiped my tears away, and tried to muster a serious look. Mama chuckles at me softly before pulling away from her warm embrace.

"Your father is going to be really upset to find out you're not there mhm?," Mama questions me with a serious look. I know papa will make me mad, but it's very lonely here.

"Mhm, you know that the boys can visit you any time," Mama informs me, I nod happily, before settling myself onto the couch. I grip the blanket near me before breathing in the smell of home. Nothing smells as good as him though. I giggle internally.

Come on Catalina you're supposed to hate him.

VALENTINO

I groan at the amount of work I've done by sitting here, and a certain girl crowds my mind. I'd like to think that I can change and be a better man for the sweet angel. I can let down my barricades for her. I can still do my job and love her. I wish my father could believe the same, but he never loved my mama. I regret every time I listened to my father, I should have spent more time with my mama. She was the sweetest person, she loved me to bits, and always stuck up with my father's shit.

Flavio: Sir she's not in that house.

What the fuck. I told those shits to watch her. Where the fuck could she have gone. I throw the papers I'm working on on the table. I grab the keys to my car before heading back home.

I drive faster as the adrenaline passes through me. Her father would kill me if anything happened to that pretty head of hers. I only care about that of course, definitely not for her well-being.

.......

I stop the car in the middle of the drive away not caring to park properly. I abruptly slam the door opening with a furious look over me.

"I ask you one thing mhm? One fucking thing and you can't do it," I yell at Flavio, who's taking my shit. His hands are crossed while he looks down at his shoes.

"Sir I told her to eat breakfast, and when I came back to check up on her she wasn't here," Flavio's trembling fingers as he talks.

"Fuck, we'll find the fuck out," I yell furiously at him again, before relieving myself of my tie, and sitting down at the island seats.

"Sir, she's at home with her brothers," Flavio enters the room while flipping through videos on the tablet. He shows me her brothers hugging her and carrying her out the house and into the car. Fuck. I've treated her so badly she hates me.

I nod quickly before getting back into my car, and drive quickly to her house. I slam the door open before knocking on the door. Hearing the loud raps of feet come near the door, it opens.

"What are you doing here," Silas questions me, I ignore his questions and let myself in before seeing Catalina sleeping peacefully on the couch. Fuck she's a sweet little thing. Her plump pink lips are in a small little pout, and those flushed chubby cheeks.

"I'm taking her home," I inform, before walking to the couch and picking her up along with the blanket she's gripping tightly. I hug her closer to my body. She suddenly cuddles into my broad chest. Catalina grips my dress shirt tightly before rubbing her small nose in my chest and cuddling into my body.

"Like the hell you are," Silas loudly whispers, I ignore his words before taking her into the car. I place her carefully into the back seat and place the blanket over her to cover her whole body. I lean down and place a small kiss on her temple. Fuck. I stop myself from smiling smally. I brush my fingers through my hair before groaning.

Maybe it isn't too bad. I start to pull out of their driveway, glancing quite often at her sleeping form.

I hear the groans and her moving around, her soft snores fill the car. Once we get to the house, I open the door quietly, and carry her into the house. I decided to put her in my room, so I know she's safe.
I close the door quietly so I don't wake her up.

I sit down on the couch. I can't control myself when a girl is sleeping on my bed. I've never let anyone sleep on my bed. I graze my fingers over my stubble, quite trying to keep my mind of things at the moment. That is until I hear soft footstep making their way down the stairs.

"Uhm Mr.M-Mancini H-hi," She softly whispers, while grasping the hem of her shirt.

I nod back. I have no idea what to say back.

"Thank...thank you for bringing me home I-I guess," Catalina murmurs quietly.

I look at her tired form, her cheeks are flushes as she talks to me. God she's so cute.

I hum as a reply before grabbing my car keys to leave.

"I will be back later," I say letting out a raspy voice. She nods quickly before waving me goodbye.

At that moment I realize I'm falling for the girl, I'm not supposed to be falling for.
