The announcement

"Have you heard?" The man asked.

The other man furrowed their brows, "What?"

The man smiled mischievously, "Killua sent out an announcement saying, "Who ever has the ability to get the key that is around my cats neck, will the the one I'll marry." Isn't that great?!" The man exclaimed.

The other man smiled evilly, "It's just a cat... this'll be easy!" The other man laughed.

Gon smiled at paper that he just read, A cat huh... I've always wanting to talk to the guy, so I guess catching this cat is my chance...

Gon grabbed his jacket, then slipped on his shoes and was out the door right away.

Gon ran to the main street of their town, The paper says that it will be talked about more there... so I gotta hurry if I want a good spot to listen.

Gon ran faster and ended up making it to the middle of the main street in 10 minutes.

The whole place was crowded and unmovable.

In the very middle stood the prize that everyone wanted.

Killua Zoldyck.

Everyone looked at him with animalistic eyes, giving away their intentions immediately.

Hopefully that cat doesn't get into the wrong hands...

Killua looked around, then tapped the microphone he held and held it up to his lips, "Can I have everyone's attention!" Killua said loud an clear.

Well... you've had everyone's attention.

Very few people looked up, since everyone was already looking at him, so Killua continued, "I'm sure you guys are already aware of what I'm going to talk about." Killua looked around, "But those of you who don't are about to know." Killua breathed, "I'm going to let my cat free... and whoever is able to get the key off around my cats neck... will be the one I'll marry!" Killua shouted.

A lot of people smirked evilly and looked ready to do anything and everything to get that cat.

Killua looked around him and breathed again, "But there are two conditions!" Everyone stopped getting side tracked and looked at Killua again, "If my cat ends up being killed... not only will you be disqualified... you will be killed too and this whole announcement/event will be called off!" Killua shouted.

A lot of people became serious and began to nod.

"I'm serious." Killua death stared everyone, then breathed, "Second condition! My cat won't be inside of my house... so if I find an intruder, saying they're trespassing because they're trying to find my cat... you will be killed!" Killua said, raising his voice.

Killua sighed, "The second I'm back in my house... the hunt will begin!" Just then, men and women all around started to scream in excitement. Killua waited for them to stop and when they did, Killua brought the microphone up to his lips again, "So... I will now be taking my leave... no need to be impatient... I'll set off some fireworks or something when I let my cat free... it is up to you to determine on if it's my cat or not... since there are tons of roaming cats in this town, or how you will get that key." Killua set down the microphone and waited for the crowd to part, so he could walk back to his house.

Killua waved to all of the townspeople, then turned and made his way back to his house.

Once Killua was out of sight, people started to become chaotic.

People left and right begging to team up, or paying each other to work together.

"He can take two people at once... I'll give you 5,000 if you help me get that cat... w-we can share him!" One man said.

Another woman was talking with her friends, "Good things I know how to tie knots... I'm going to be setting up tons of traps!" The woman laughed.

Gon was hearing inhuman deals and sentences left and right, so Gon started to walk back to his house.

It's probably too dangerous to even try and catch that cat now... people are going to set the town on fire the second Killua let's that cat free.

Gon sighed and stopped at a nearby shop to pick up some groceries.

While Gon was in the shop, he heard a blast, presumably a firework.

The entire town became silent for a few seconds... then all you could hear was stomping, running, screaming, etc.

Gon looked at the entrance and saw quite a few people flooding the store and running to the cat food section.

Gon hurried and ran to the cashier, before it became impossible to even buy anything.

Once he was done, he quickly ran out of there and went back to his house.

Gon's house wasn't exactly inside of the town.

Gon lived in the mountains that were right by the town... but he still buys everything that's inside of the town... and he pays taxes for the government there, so he's pretty much is a townsperson.

The rest of the day was spent, reading books with information about cats and thinking of plan on when he should leave.

While Gon was reading, he heard faint noises of glass breaking, screaming, bangs and more.

Yeah... it's best to stay in here for now.
