When Gon woke up, the cat was still on the couch sleeping.
Gon smiled and began to make breakfast, then made something small for the cat.
I guess Gon was too loud because the cat stretched and walked over to Gon and watched as he made breakfast.
Gon let his breakfast warm up in the pan, while Gon made the cats breakfast.
Once Gon was done with that, he put it in a bowl for him, then set it on the floor.
"Good morning!" Gon exclaimed.
The cat meowed as he ate his breakfast, "Did you sleep well?" Gon asked.
The cat finished chewing, then looked at Gon and meowed, then went back to eating.
Gon giggled, then pet the cat, "That's good... do you want to go for a walk again today?" Gon asked.
The cat meowed, so Gon took that as a yes and nodded.

Gon and the cat immediately started walking, once Gon packed a lunch for the both of them.
Gon walked in a different direction today in hopes of finding something new.
But sadly... Gon definitely got something new.
Gon ran into some of the townspeople.
2 of them to be exact.
And the both of them looked angry... very angry.
They looked at Gon as if he has stolen their treasure, so Gon looked at the cat, "You need to run kitty... these people are not okay..." Gon said quickly.
The cat backed up, but didn't run away, which caused Gon to groan.
I can't let them harm him!
Gon pulled out his knife, but didn't show it.
Their attention was on the cat after all.
The guy nudged the friend next to him, "Hehe... look it's the cat we've been looking for... THAT'S OUR CAT... MOVE!" The man yelled.
They both looked unhinged... so Gon readied himself for anything.
Gon stood his ground and didn't move, which made them both charge towards Gon.
The bigger guy went for Gon's head, so Gon ducked and rolled forward, then jumped to the side when the skinnier guy tried to gut punch him.
Gon raised his leg and kicked the skinnier guy across the face, causing him to fall.
The bigger guy went into a wrestling position, so Gon jumped back and watched.
The bigger man went for Gon's legs, but changed that attack to Gon's torso last second, so Gon brought out his knife and let the man fall into it, stabbing his own throat.
The guy had to process what happened for a few seconds... and when he did he rolled off of Gon and held his throat, trying to stop the blooding from seeping out.
The skinnier dude stood and realized the situation and tried to get away, but Gon was quicker.
Gon stabbed him in the liver, then pushed him to the floor.
Gon didn't want to waste anymore time with them, so he turned back and didn't see the cat anymore.
Understandable... that probably scared him... worst case scenario, someone snatched him, while I was fighting them.
Gon got himself situated, then began to walk again.
And thankfully... the cat showed himself a few minutes later.
Gon smiled, "Sorry... I didn't want you to see that, but I had no choice. They were unhinged and were going to do anything everything they could to take you." Gon explained.
The cat meowed and jumped on Gon's leg, climbing up Gon as he walked.
Gon stopped walking, so the cat could get situated on top of Gon's backpack.
Once the cat was done with that, Gon began to walk again.
After a few minutes of walking, Gon tapped the cat lightly, "What should I name you?" Gon asked.
The cat purred and meowed, so Gon nodded and began thinking of a name.
Gon ended up finding a semi different spot, so he set the cat down, along with the rest of his stuff.
Gon gasped, "Pretty kitty!" Gon exclaimed.
The cat hissed at this, "Whaaat! It's true... you're pretty... and your a kitty!" Gon whined.
The cat hissed again, but Gon shook his head, "It's not even a bad name... it's just me complimenting you every time I call for you..." Gon sighed.
The cat groaned, then sat down next to Gon, "So is that a fine...?" Gon smirked.
The cat didn't hiss again, so Gon yelled in victory, but stopped right away when the cat flinched.
"S-sorry... just celebrating!" Gon admitted.
The cat blinked, then rubbed it's head against the back pack, "Oh you're hungry?" Gon asked.
The cat rubbed it's head on the backpack again, so Gon pulled out his food and opened it, Gon doing the same not long after.
Gon laughed, "I never thought a cat would be my first friend... not that I'm complaining." Gon said quickly.
The cat looked up at Gon, then continued to eat.
Gon finished up his food and pet the cat and listened to his purr's.
"I hope you'll trust me enough to let me see your owner someday..." Gon whispered.
Little did he know... that day was going to be happening soon.
Very soon.
