Chapter 1: First Life-Changing Intruder
Okumura Rin's POV
"HOLY HELL! I'M LATE AS FUCK!" I run my as far as my legs could go, traveling 100 km/h with the use of my demonic stamina. Not long after, I made it for cram school. Or that's what I thought.
"Late again, Rin! That's yet another one of your countless late attendance!" yelled my exorcist sensei.
Or should I say, my little twin brother Okumura Yukio. Sucks to have a sibling doing the grown up job. Especially if he's younger than you!
"Gomen na Yukio. I kinda fell asleep after NOT doing homework so.... I'm sure I didn't miss much of it did I?" I scratched the back of my neck as I chuckled mischievously.
"You missed half of the actual day you're suppose to be at school! What in the world were you doing other than the piled up homework!?"
"Heheheh."
"Don't give that smirk! At least take your school work seriously!" the two-eyed-mole-face lectured.
"Anyways," Yukio sighed as he pushed his glasses up to his nose as he no longer had the strength to reason with me. "Please take your seat. Sorry about that everyone, we'll continue with the lesson as follows. Please turn to page 452 and read dialogue 73..."
I couldn't care less. If there was an easier way to become the Paladin and beat the shit of Satan, then that's a definite win-win for me. Well, Yukio's right, I might as well start acting a bit more mature.
I pulled out my text books and clipped my messy fringe out of my face. As I had these childish thoughts, a familiar white dog walks in and then casually jumps on Yukio's desk.
