"GOOD MORNING, (Y/N)!" Sans said as he shook you awake. This used to startle you, making you yelp every time, but now you are used to it. You actually liked waking up like this in the morning, seeing him happy made you happy. You giggled as your small body gave him a hug. "Sans!" you said as he picked you up. "MWEH HEH HEH! I, THE MAGNIFICENT SANS, HAVE SUCCESSFULLY CAPTURED YOU!" he said playfully, carrying you downstairs. You were a giggling mess at this point, squirming in his arms. He chuckled as he put you down, ruffling your hair a little. "NOW, WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE FOR BREAKFAST?" You thought for a moment, then your face practically lit up with excitement. "Pancakes, please!" He nodded happily, already getting the ingredients out. Paps groggily walked into the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of honey.
"YOU'RE UP EARLY!" Sans said, sort of shocked. Paps chuckled, setting down the honey bottle. "Well..." he smirked playfully "I heard you captured a human and it looks like they got away...Better fix that!" Almost immediately after he was done talking, he threw you over his shoulder. You squealed, kicking your legs around. Then Paps started running around the living room, he made sure to not drop you. You had tears in your eyes as you laughed, having to gasp for air in between each one. Paps noticed this, playfully tossing you on the couch, giving you the chance to calm down. He patted your upper back, then walked back into the kitchen to help Sans with breakfast.
After a few minutes, your breathing was back at a normal pace. You yawned and stretched your arms out, flopping into the couch cushions. You sighed softly as your stomach growled with hunger. As if on cue, Sans walked into the living room with a plate of pancakes. Paps carried some fruit along with some syrup, butter, and honey. You quickly sat up, making room for the two skeletons. Sans pulled the coffee table closer to the couch while Paps put on your favorite show. You leaned your head on Paps's shoulder, your eyes fixated on the T.V. On your other side, Sans began fixing your plate. A minute later Sans tapped your shoulder, your eyes left the screen and onto him. "HERE YOU ARE, (Y/N)!" he said, presenting you with a beautiful plate of pancakes. You smiled happily as you took the plate "Thank you, Sans! Thank you, Papy!" They both looked at each other with the same look in their eyes.
