SUSPICIOUSLY
third erson's pov

——— • "Well then everyone, please call me James." It was a short introduction, a man came in so suddenly which made the guests feel suspicious. So here is he, still tied with a rope around his arms and torso. "You're a priest?" Arthur asked.

"You expect me to believe this suspicious guy?" Woodley asked in suspicion. "The 13th man is the only one without an alibi for all three murders! It's got to be him!" He exclaimed, he's paranoid as always.

But the old man only smirked, "That deduction is complete nonsense, Mr. Woodley." He said. By the mention of his name, Woodley became concerned, "H-How did you know my name?" He questioned.

"With those rings it was perfectly obvious, a diamond that large that hasn't been on the market yet. I've heard that Daniel Amderson, a London jeweller, has been emphasizing that in his sale stocks." James grinned at Woodley like a devil.

"End of the earth's party guests the one most likely to be wearing that is elusive ring...would be President Woodley." He finished, looking at the only President of a jewelry compay in the room.

"In ither words, you, sir...Was I mistaken?" Hey sarcastically asked. Woodley dod not answer amd just scoffed in defeat. Once again he is outsmarted.

"You look like that butler, in my opinion," Jeremy suddenly spoke. Vermiel smirked at him, "Now that you've mentioned it, he kind of does," she agrees. The Countess then stares at the new arrival with a grinn...a knowing grinn. James just smiled dumbly at her.

"More importantly...How did you— No, how long have you been here and for what reason?" Arthur asked the big question. "You certainly have a lot of questions," James said in distaste.

He then looks af the chef who's holding his bag, "Ah, you there. Put my bag down, and open it," he asked. The chef puts the bag down and opens it, there laid a white owl, drenched and unconscious.

Mey-rin gasped at the sight, "Oh! That's Mr. Sebastian's owl!" She exclaimed. "I gve the bird a sedative, so it's asleep." James said. Vermiel walks closer to the bag as sees something attached to it's leg, "I suppose I'm supposed to write the letter on it's leg?" She asled despite knowing.

"Yes..." Replied the priest.

I took out the letter and pulled it closer to my face. "Countess, what was Mr. Sebastian trying to say?" Mey-rin asked behind me. I immediately crumpled the paper and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Apparently, Sebastian foresaw hus murder, so he sentt a letter to James." I answered. Ignoring the ridiculous thing on the paper, I hid it in my pocket.

"But that piece of paper doesn't prove that he's the murderer," Roxana said. "Check my coat pocket," sayas Jeremy. Finny went on and tugged out a piece of paper from the pocket, it was ticket to tye theater.

"For what date?" Ciel asks.

"... yesterday," Finny answers. "It's a same-day ticket for the evening show on march 12. No venue and performance were...Ly...Lyceum Theater." Finny trues to pronounce.

"The program was The Lady of the Lake." James added. Irine then confirmed this, as she's a theater actress herself, she would know these events and schedules. "The show just ended just after 10 PM. Even i offer the sovereignty speeding things up, it would take 2 hours in a hansome cab. Now with the storm, we take more than twice that long"
