As the months went by, your stomach increased and Severus had gotten even more protective of you and your health. But mostly, the child.
Severus had always thought that happiness wasn't any good or possible anymore once most of his happiness was stripped away from him in his younger years, until he found you.
He was so happy to be with you and was even more delighted once you two got married, and now your pregnant with a baby with Severus about to become a father.
After some time with you now, Severus had always wanted children of his own. To teach and watch them grow up and become one of his own, and so he can be happy with one big family.
Now knowing what happiness really is and how it's done, he really loves you.
Severus has taken rather alot of breaks from being a professor at Hogwarts and decided to just focus on you other than most of his work, you sometimes came with him to Hogwarts so he can keep an eye on you and made sure that you were safe.
You did find his protective tendencies rather annoying, but you knew that it was for the better and so the baby won't get harmed.
You and Severus had just thought about names for the child, if it were a girl, it could be that the name given if it's female would be 'Bella'. You first wanted to name your child after Severus' mother, Eileen. Which he didn't like. Or if the baby were to be a boy, it would be named 'Harry' after the boy who Severus had taught for years.
Severus liked the names and was already prepared for being a father, he had to get some help to become ready and both of you got some of the things the baby could need.
Toys, food, a room and all of that. However, the room part was a problem as you and Severus didn't have any spare rooms in the house for it to become the child's room. So, you two had to have the crib in your shared room for now.
Currently you were setting up the crib mobile in the room you and Severus were in, Severus was the one who had bought the crib and helped you with assembling everything.
You then came up with an idea in your head, you waved your wand around to make the crib mobile even nicer and had more better vibes. Little owls and some broomsticks were the decor on the mobile.
