Payback

I decide to go over to the bar so I whisper in Zurra's ear that I'm going, to be honest it's more like a really loud shout than a whisper. I try to navigate my way through the huge mass of people until I reach the bar which is at the far corner. It felt good to not have to serve people but instead be served by others for a change, I decide to order a cocktail, once the bar tender gives it to me I swivel around in my chair an survey the scene laid out before me, everyone is gyrating in time to the music, almost like the music is controlling them, wherever the beat takes them they gladly follow. Every body is only inches apart from another, I want to dance so badly it's as if the music is calling me, begging me to move in time to it. I decide to succumb to the urge so I quickly finish my cocktail and walk to the dance floor not really caring who is around me, I start to move in time to the beat listening and responding to the infectious tune. My hips are moving like they have a life of their own and it's like my body is a machine, every individual part moving differently but functioning as a unit. Suddenly someone bumps into me from behind, I turn around to see who it is and there standing in front of me is an angry looking Hayden, he screams over the music " what the hell is your problem?"
This guys has a lot of nerve, I've had enough of his bad attitude and rude mouth, he bumps into me and I'm the one with a problem, it's time I gave him a taste of his own medicine. I scream back just as loudly " I don't have a problem, you do, from your bad attitude to your arrogance, you think just because you are a prince you can treat people anyhow, you need to seriously re-evaluate your attitude!" I turn around quickly and push past anyone in my way in an attempt to create some distance between me and Hayden. I walk towards the door at the side of the club, I walk out the door and am plunged into complete silence, the peace is so refreshing, in the distance I can see the beach so walk towards it but someone suddenly grabs my arm from the back and turns me around, I turn to see Hayden glaring at me, I scowl at him and say " get your filthy hands off me now!"
He let's go and scowls back then says" I came to give you some useful advice"
" thanks but I don't need any advice from you" I say
" you have the audacity to speak to me in the rude manner in which you do, because you are naively ignorant to the fact that we are not on the same level, we are not even of the same breed, it would do you good to remember that the next time you open your mouth to address me because I'm afraid next time you insult me I will not be this kind"
I regard him for a moment then say" I don't care if we are not on the same level, I will continue to treat you as I would scum because your bad attitude makes you more than worthy of such treatment so I think it would do you Plenty of good to remember that the next time you speak to me" I don't wait for his reply I simply turn around and walk towards the beach, thankfully he doesn't follow me. When I reach the beach I take off my heels revelling in the feel of the soft sand beneath my feet. I take out my camera and take a few shots of the sunlit sea , the light from the moon gives the water a sort of transparency which just makes me want to dive in and explore the depths of it. I sigh and think back to my confrontation with Hayden, I don't understand why he has such a bad attitude, who gives him the right to treat people the way he does. I thought princes were supposed to be kind, people friendly, Hayden is nothing like that.
" Stupid prince" I throw a rock into the sea pretending it's Hayden, I make sure to use all my strength. That helps so I do it again, when eventually all the anger I feel for him is gone, I walk to the edge of the beach making sure my feet are dipped in the water, the coldness of the water hits me instantly so I jump back away from the water then slowly dip my feet into the water again.

A while later I realise with dread that I have to go back to the club because Zurra has no idea where I am.
Inside the club it's buzzing, I search for Zee with my eyes, bingo, she's in the corner talking to a guy, I look around again to see if Hayden is in the club but thankfully he's nowhere to be found. I walk over to The bar and order a strong drink then I go over to Zee and tell her I'm going home she doesn't complain because she's to busy staring into the guys eyes. I try to get her attention by saying " hey Zee, I'm gonna go home now"
She doesn't even look at me when she replies " okay, bye" typical. I go outside
Breathing in the fresh air and order a can which comes quickly, once in my dorm I put on my pj's and fall into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Hey guys it's me again "authors note" this chapter has taken me a long time to finish, I have had to rewrite the chapter like a thousand times because I've lost what I've written soo many times. Basically I have had to endure all of this simply because I want to modify Hayden's character and change some of the parts of the book.
