"Lynn wake up!! We have our lecture"
I said to my bestfriend who is sleeping like she has slept after years.

"Beth!! It's 6.00 in the morning we have lecture at 9.00. Let me sleep. I am not as excited as you."

"Lynn what the heck. Stop being an asshole. Wake up. It's our first day. In this college. In this country."
I said pulling his blanket.

"Bethany I am not the excited type. Go away I want to sleep."

"Okay sleep"
I said a and walked ou of the room and into the kitchen.

Lynn and I are best friends from childhood. We both know each others all secret like everything.

We both belong to a not so simple family. Actually my dad is a mafia. And her dad's my father bestfriend who is also a lawyer so he helps my dad.

I don't like the vibe in my house. My house is just a house not a home. So I decided to shift for my further studies. It was hard to convince my dad but in the end he allowed me.

I always forced Lynn to come with me because I didn't wanted to shift in a county where I hardly know someone.

I poured my cofee in my mug and my phone started ringing. Displays my dad's name.

"Hello dad"

"Hi, I have send you some picture on your email. And information about them. Check them properly. They are th kids form our rival family all studying in the same college. Be careful."

"Ok dad"

"I don't want your okay. Check them right. Make sure to take your bodyguards everywhere you go. There are lots of my enemies hungry for your blood. Do you get that?"

"Yes father"

"Where's mom"

Hope she talks to me. Fingers crossed.

"She's here you wanna talk."

"Yes Offcause"

"Imari, Bethany wants to talk. Come here and talk to her."
I heard him screaming.

Mom said.

"I am outside"
I heard dad say.

I aksed breaking the silence.

She snapped at me.

"Offcause mom. I am sorry. I know I am selfish but I wanted to get out of that house. It's like a prison-"

"Bethany I only aksed you one thing. Don't leave me but you did."

"You did. I asked you not only because I love you but he..he controls in front of you. But you didn't care. Let me in this hell."
With that she hang the phone. A tear slide down my cheeks.

My mom is in a abusive relationship. She was forced to marry my dad. This is the main reason I wanted to get put of my house. Because it's hard for me to breath there.
