Ugh, how I hate him. I really do. Honestly, I can't STAND him.
Those were the thoughts that kept repeating in Alejandro's head. He figured if he kept saying that, he might actually start to believe it.
This was the second 'date' they had been on. They were sitting at a table in the food court, and they had just finished enjoying some ice cream.
After a while of just sitting there and talking, Alejandro decided to take Duncan shopping.
If we go on more dates, at least we can look our best, Alejandro thought to himself. He'd look nice in a suit. But then again- anyone would! Ay, what is wrong with me?!
They walked into the store and went their separate ways. Duncan headed to get some ripped jeans and chain necklaces, while Alejandro headed to the dress shirts and pants.
"It's such a shame Duncan would never wear anything like this." Alejandro admitted to himself. "This would look hot on him..." He was thankful that Duncan was halfway across the store.
"Aww, I'm flattered!" Alejandro jumped at the sound of Duncan's voice.
"Mierda!" he yelled, before realizing what he had said.
Duncan watched as Alejandro desperately tried to hide his embarrassment. "Lo siento, I didn't know you were there." He turned around to see a wide smile on Duncan's face.
I want to wipe that smile off his arrogant, sexy face! I mean stupid! Arrogant, STUPID face!
"I wanted your opinion on this," Duncan said, holding up a pair of black ripped jeans. "But you gave me an idea, Al." he finished, putting emphasis on the nickname.
He knew Alejandro hated being called Al, so naturally, he did it all the time.
"We should buy clothes for each other! Doesn't that sound fun?" Duncan knew Alejandro would hate the idea.
"No, it doesn't." Alejandro said in a deadpan tone.
Duncan gave Alejandro his best puppy dog eyes. "Pwetty pwease?" he asked.
Ugh, he's driving me loco. Whatever gets him to stop.
Alejandro sighed. "If you insist," he said. "Just don't go too far, ok?" he added. "Alright, I won't..." Duncan replied, smiling mischievously.
This is a waste of time, he'll never wear any of this stuff. What a shame. Alejandro thought, grabbing a pair of dress pants.

When they were finished, they met up outside the store and exchanged bags.
"We are to wear this tomorrow, no matter what, ok?" Alejandro repeated for about the third time.
"Of course, you can trust me. But you have to wear this stuff too." Duncan reminded him. I hope he likes what I picked out for him.
"Yes, yes. I know." Alejandro remarked.
"What do you wanna do now?" Duncan asked. "We could get some macarons, I know they have a place around here. Heather told me about it, she said you would like it."
How would Heather know? She might actually be falling for me! Finalmente!
"Absolutely! Let's go!" Alejandro declared, his face lighting up.
As they walked outside, Duncan noticed that it was raining, hard. He was about to ask Alejandro what to do, when he grabbed Duncan's hand and ran across the parking lot to his car.
They both got in the car quickly. "Sorry, looks like we can't go." Duncan felt pretty bad. "Not to worry cariño, we can just go home and get the sweets another day!" Alejandro said.
"Umm, Al?" Duncan asked softly.
"Yes, Duncan?" the spaniard replied.
"What does cariño mean?"
There was an extended moment of silence.
Judging by the way Al went silent, nothing good. Duncan thought to himself. "You know what? I don't even wanna know." he said, earning him a sigh of relief from Alejandro.
After a while, Duncan noticed Alejandro's phone going off a lot, and decided to check it for him.
"Hey! What the fuck is wrong with you?" Alejandro angrily remarked.
"It's not like you can check it, you're driving!" Duncan retorted. "Ooh, who's La Puta?"
Ugh. José. "No one of importance." he said through gritted teeth.
"Well, La Puta says hi." Duncan said, typing. "WAIT, DUNCAN NO!" Alejandro yelled in a panicked tone.
'Hola, AL'
'sup'
'So, how's the date?'
'good'
'That's surprising, the last 4 girls you went out with hated u lol'
'yeah, I chose a guy this time'
'Wait, ur GAY?? I'm telling Carlos omg'
"Shit." Duncan said.
"What do you mean?!" Alejandro asked, still panicking.
"Shit- I told José that you're gay, and now he's trying to call..." Duncan said quietly.
"Oh, that's not that bad." Alejandro said, hiding his fury.
I swear, I am going to kill him in his sleep.
The rest of the car ride went in silence, as Alejandro had told Duncan to block José, so that he didn't call anymore.
