(Tally's view)

That night when we got home I was seated on the couch when my brother sat next to me giving my cheek a little kiss in greeting.

"Sorry I'm late sweetheart, you feelin' okay?" he asked as he took my hands into his eyes shining with concern.

"Yes, just a little sore in my chest, but other than that I'm fine." I said squeezing his hand comfortingly as we sat together listening to the crickets outside.

"Do you want me to get you anything?" Eddie asked as he rubbed my shoulders with his hand and I thought for a moment before nodding.

"Could you get me some warm water please?" I asked to which my brother smiled as he messed up my hair affectionately before handing me the cup of warm water as he sat next to me again and rested his head on my shoulder.

"I miss Holly." I said making him look up at me as we continued to sit together.

"I know Tal, it doesn't get any easier." he said as his thumb rubbed circles on the back of my hand.

"We'll get through this sweetheart, I promise." Eddie said as he handed me my heart medicine which I took with a sip of the warm water he handed me.

"I have no doubt." I replied with a smile as he snuggled up next to me on the couch rubbing my arm comfortingly.

"I don't want to lose you too Ed." I said as tears fell down my face.

"You'll never lose me Tally, never." Eddie promised kissing away the tears for each never before hugging me again as we continued to lay there in silence.

"Do you think we'll ever be able to move past the pain?" I asked as we continued to lay there quietly.

"I think so, I really do." Eddie said as he held my hand as we continued to look at the family photos of us with our little sister when a twig snapped outside and our heads snapped up in sync.
