Silence
I ate my breakfast in complete silence , and alone . Something I am used to,  well either this or a breakfast with a mother suffering from a hungover I don't even know if she came home last night and I don't really want to know , I think you just stop caring for the same thing after so many years
I just hope she is fine wherever she is and with whomever she's with
Sometimes I just feel sorry for her , I mean I don't really know what it's mean to be sixteen and pregnant and you don't even know who's the father of your child is but I guess it was hard for her
maybe that didn't stop her from messing with men everyday but at least she took the responsibility and tryied to be a mom
Even though she is failing miserably
I heard the honk of the car in front of our house and I smiled widely , my favorite part of the day with my favorite person in my life 
I took my bag and walked out of the house closing the door behind me I smiled when I saw my best friend waiting for me in his car

My childhood friend and neighbor , this is 17 years of friendship , i have known him my holl life and I can say with confidence that no body knows me the way he does and the same way around
He is the only person that I care truly about , the only person that I know truly cares about me
I watched him step out of the car with his usual smirk that swoop all the girls and me included
He raised his strong arms up signaling for me to run to him like I always do and that what I did loughing out loud and huging him tightly even though I reach his chest only , that didn't stop me from wrapping my arms around his torso enjoying his warmth

"How is my favorite girl in the holl world  ? " He asked while raffling my black hair
I huffed annoyed fixing my hair before smiling back to him " I am the only girl in your world "
He threw his head back loughing before looking at me with those dark bleu eyes of his " doesn't make you any less favorite "
I chuckled walking around the car and opening the door to get in but his voice stoped me
" I was the one supposed to do that " he said pouting watching me get in the car and doing the same
I put my seat belt and threw my bag at my feet " you say that everytime "
He turned on the car driving towards our highschool " so are you ready for the first day of the last year in that stupid highschool "
I shock my head smiling " I see you totally are ready "
He wiggled his eyebrows with that stupid sexy smirk " I am so ready for the hot girls and the wilde parties "
As usual , maybe I forgot to mention that he is the quarterback of our team with the bad boy looks  so that make him super popular and loved by everyone even the teachers fall for his smile not that I blame them , I know what that smile can do and above all that he is the coolest guy and the nicest too
" Yeah and I am so ready for the books and the reading time in the library " and this is me
Not a nerd , well maybe I am I have A's in all my classes and I love books way too much I just don't wear glasses and boys clothes and I don't have pimples  , still don't know way they refer to the nerds like that in the movies
I like to dress and look good and I love taking care of myself I am just not that popular and social girl
I like to keep it to myself and have a true few friend rather than a holl fake school after me
"You're so not gonna do that and I'm so not gonna let you " he said stoping in the school park and turned to look at me
"I am taking you to every party with me and I'm not gonna except those excuses of being sick having homework need to clean the house nor plans with Sam " he talked pointing at me with a finger and using that serious voice which made think that I need to find new excuses later as I climbed  out of the car
"You know that parties aren't really my thing " I said walking beside him heading to the gates
He threw his arm around my shoulder " you won't know if you don't go and you need to live a little try new things and besides this is your last year here do you really want to spend it reading or doing some crazy things "
Well when he say it like that , maybe I do need to try new things , what's there to loose
I nodded slowly to him while looking for Sam in the hallway " yeah I will think about it "
"She is at your locker shorty" he said loughing at my attempt to see above the students walking in the hallway , I smacked his chest playfully smiling
"Kath " I winced at her loud voice and screaming as she came running to hug me and thank god Mathew was behind me , otherwise we would be on the floor right now I think he learned the lesson after the first time it happened . Sam is my other best friend we met in freshman and we just clicked and we have been friends since than
"I missed you so much " I smiled hugging her back for couple of minutes
"Didn't you like spend the holiday together " I heard Mathew's voice from behind and I rolled my eyes opening my locker waiting for the fight to begin
