"Well," Jenni swirled her iced latte in her hand, standing on the small town's sidewalk, in blissful warmth, "that worked out for me."
The town around her was just waking up. Jenni had woken up that morning and decided to go for a run around the town. However, on her way back to the Morinozuka vacation home, she spotted the most delectable coffee shop that had just opened, and had a conversation with the owner who was hosing off the sidewalk. The wonderful young woman gave Jenni a discount in exchange for Jenni carrying in some coffee deliveries.
"Bye," Jenni waved happily, "Congratulations!"
The lady smiled and waved with one hand and rested her other on her baby bump. Another customer walked up to the establishment, and the woman followed them inside with another wave to Jenni.
Warmth was coming over the mountains of Karuizawa in the early morning. The icy latte was a good choice, Jenni deducted. So were the mountains. The town of Karuizawa was adorable and quaint, and the people had been so friendly to Jenni and the boys.
That's right, the boys. Not just Honey and Takashi-- the whole entire Host Club was vacationing in Karuizawa. Apparently, upon hearing of Haruhi's out-of-town summer job with her father's friend, Misuzu, Tamaki decided that she needed to be saved. Then, upon hearing that she was there on her own free will, he decided that she needed company. Haruhi, however, was not too happy about it. In fact, when the boys and herself had shown up in a helicopter that nearly made Jenni throw up, she had wanted to kill all of them.
Jenni walked through the white-picket gate and towards the inn-- a multiple-story, large house that was a bright yellow in color and clean all around. While she had limited staff, Misuzu ran a clean and adorable business, and Jenni enjoyed the outside patio.
Ping! Ping! Ping!
Her hand shot to her short's pocket. Digging into the tight fabric, Jenni brought out her cell phone. "Hello?"
A smile lit up her face, "Oh, hey!" she giggled, "What are you doing? Isn't it like 7PM there? You should be at practice!"
She continued to laugh at something the person on the other line said. Unbeknownst to her, however, two pairs of peering eyes watched over her.
Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin had won an absurd competition the other day to occupy a single room at the inn. Jenni had stayed out of it, instead touring the town and the trails in the mountains with a bicycle she rented from a nearby sports shop. That morning, she snuck out of the Morinozuka estate, of which she and Takashi along with the small maid staff were the only occupants, and went for a run in the morning air.
The twins smirked at each other, wondering who she was gibbering on with on her cell phone.
"Okay, well, give my love to your Mom," she said. The twins didn't understand much of what she was saying as she spoke in English-- in that weird accent that Takashi seemed to like so much. "I miss you... and your mom's cobbler."
She laughed, "Okay, the cobbler more! I admit it." she nodded and muttered something before cheering a goodbye and something about international minutes. "Bye, Nathan."
"I wonder who that was," whispered the twins. And while they didn't have any present plots, anyone could tell they were saving that information for later usage.

"Hold on," Haruhi told the twins. Jenni turned her head and approached her female friend as she said to the twins, "We don't even have that stuff on the menu."
"Huh?"
"Behave!" Tamaki exclaimed and wacked the twins with a newspaper, "Who do you guys think you are? I swear sometimes you guys think the world revolves around you."
