Reflected reds and pinks
Of the midnight sky
That is usually ocean blue.
Flicker of light
Movement of water
Figure seated on the grass
Light was rapidly fading from the sky.
He could clearly see
That it was a woman
Wind blew her hair
Wisping around her face.
He stood there,
Even at the distance
Seemingly lost in thought
He could tell she was pretty.
It was soothingly, restful
A serenity in chaos
Darkness of the night hunts him 'til now
Like a light, she faded from the sky.
