I was wondering if that girl would come to the coffee shop tomorrow. I'd made a mental note in my head to get her name, maybe even her number. It's now Thursday and I just made it back home after school. Pretty girl wasn't there yesterday but she was today. I made sure to annoy her throughout the day.
"Where have you been" my mama walked up to me.
She was so tiny, with her illness it's to be expected. I couldn't help but feel bad for her, though I know it wasn't my fault.
"Running around with the boys, mama you shouldn't be out of bed" I usher her back to the stairs.
"No, no, no I'm fine" she waved her hands in the air.
"No. Bed. Now." I demand.
"Your so bossy, that used to be my job you know" she huffed as I helped her up the steps.
"Key word, used to, now it's mine" I say as I open the door to her room and walk her to the bed.
"I love you mama" I whisper to her as I tuck her under the sheets.
"I love you too rom" she said as she closed her eyes.
I made my way back down the stairs and into the living room.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket when I got a text from and unknown number.
What the hell?
I text back.
They don't answer for a second.
I text again.
They read it.
They are typing.
How do they know who I'm talking about?
I text back.
No answer.
I give up.
Maybe she'll be there. I'll take my chances and go to the party.
~~
Oh so now mysterious person is texting him too?
