Writer's POV:

At around 5, she wake up and started getting ready. After completing her morning chores, she got ready in a pink plane salwar suit and went to the kitchen for preparing breakfast. After some time the breakfast was ready and she started arranging the table and went to the kitchen as per her daily routine as she was not allowed to be in the dining room till the time her parents have their breakfast. As the clock struck 8, the Tyagi couple entered the dining area and the maids started serving the breakfast and Nitara was watching them from the kitchen. Suddenly Suhani started coughing vigorously and tears brimmed in her eyes, seeing her condition Ashok panicked and rushed to her and gave her water. Seeing her condition, Ashok was hell angry and then suddenly he shouted making all the servants and Suhani flinch.

Ashok: Nitara.....Nitara

Hearing her father's voice, Nitara was shivering badly and timidly walked in the dining room. Hearing Ashok's voice, Sudeepa also came there. On seeing Nitara coming in the dining room, he rushed towards her and slapped her tightly. Due to the force of the slap she fell down with a thud. Seeing her Sudeepa rushed to her and was going to help her but Ashok stopped her. Ashok bend down to her level, and held her face in a tight grip and spoke dangerously

Ashok: Why did you mixed extra spices in the food, when you know that Suhani can't eat spicy food.

Nitara(stammering): I.. di...d..n't mi.. xe...d... ex..tra... spi..ces...

Suhani who was sitting there smirked evily thinking how she mixed extra spices in her food intentionally so that Ashok can punish Nitara.

Ashok(loudly): Then who the hell mixed them, when only you are allowed to prepare breakfast.

Sudeepa tried to say something but a single glare from Ashok stopped her. She looked at Nitara with pity who was crying silently because of another slap.

Suhani(innocently): Ashok.. Calm down... Ok...I m fine.

Ashok(sternly): No Ani, u don't interfere today... U always supported her, this time I won't leave her easily and started dragging Nitara to his secret punishment room. Sudeepa was shouting loudly to stop but he didn't paid any attention to it and was continuously dragging her without caring that her forehead was bleeding.

Nitara(in a low voice): Pa.. Pa.. do.. n't... do.. th.. is... I... am... So...rr..y pl... ea.. se...

But Ashok did not paid any attention to her pleadings and both of them reached the punishment room. Only by seeing the room a shiver ran down to her spine. He pushed her inside with full force and locked the door from inside and slowly started moving towards her. Nitara was shivering badly thinking about the type of punishment her father gives her. When he reached near to Nitara, he slapped her tightly 4 to 5 times continuously. Her lips and cheeks were bruised badly and were bleeding. Then in a cold voice he ordered her which shock her to the core.

Ashok: Strip

Nitara(stammering): N... No... Pa... Pa.. I m... s...so..rry...

Ashok(in a loud voice): I said strip or you will face the consequences bitch
But before Nitara could proceed, he folded his sleeves and took a thick leather belt and started beating her.
Her cries echoed in the whole room but he paid no heed to her pleadings and continued beating her. Because of all the beatings her kurti tore from the sleeves. She was crying hysterically because of all the things she faced early morning because of her evil step mother.
After punishing Nitara, Ashok finally stopped and spoke in a cold and threatening voice

Ashok: You won't leave this place till the time I come from office... Understand(she nodded her head, he held her face in a tight grip and said) Words.. I want words my Princess

Nitara(stammering): Y.. Yes.. Pa.. Pa..

Ashok: Good!!! and don't even try to touch food and water or u will face the consequences and I am sure u don't want that, isn't it baby girl (and smirked seeing her scared face)
Whole day went in a blur with Nitara crying and cursing her fate. She didn't move from the corner even an inch and looked at her wounds and bruises with an emotionless face. During the night time, her father returned and once again slapped her but she didn't react and warned her not to repeat her mistake. Without having food, she directly ran to her room and closed the door hurriedly and took out her mom's picture and slept hugging her picture.
Next day she woke up earlier then usual got ready, prepared breakfast and directly went to her office without eating anything. During lunch time, one of her good friend from office Avika dragged her to have lunch as she was continuously working from morning without taking a break.
The other half of the day completed by Nitara completing her pending works, which she could not complete because of yesterday's events. She completed her work, bid bye to Avika and headed to the mansion. When she reached midway, she saw a woman with a child running in her direction with some people following her, because of saving that lady and her child she crashed in a luxurious car which was coming from the opposite direction, because of the sudden hit the car got a big scratch, on seeing the scratch Nitara was hell scared by thinking how the owner of the car will react. Suddenly she saw a man precisely a driver coming out of from the driving seat and was glaring her, he was going to say something but the man sitting at the back seat called his driver and said something to which he answered OK.. by getting scared of his master's anger. He drove away leaving a confused Nitara back.
Nitara was confused by seeing the behaviour of that particular stranger but shrugged away all the thoughts by thinking that maybe the car owner was kind hearted and didn't feel to shout at her as she was just trying to save a woman and a child. With these thoughts, she headed to the mansion. After preparing dinner, she ate a little and went to her room. Today she was all alone and no one to talk with as her dadi had gone to a pilgrimage. After reading a book for sometime and thinking about that Stranger she fell in a deep slumber.
