I watched as the night crept in, sulking from the tips of my fingers to my mind, I watched the day sprout from the night; a saviour from the darkness that consumed my soul, a mere stranger, a stranger to my midnight moon, a stranger that sprouted the light in me; my morning sun, a stranger turns to a friend, a friend to a lover, a lover to a stranger again, as the lover understands that the moon could never be quite that beautiful, as the lover sees how the darkness consumes the moon the lover turns to a stranger. Sulking up my fingers once again i see the moon rise as the sun sets it's course away from here, as the moon turns away from the sun, shedding tears of light through the trees in the foggy forest that consumes my mind, the memories of the sun fade replaced with emptiness, doesn't the sun miss the moon?
My morning sun.
